Sunsingers don't need a buff. I like running Starfire Protocol with Angel of Light and my favorite sniper, Saladin's Vigil. My trusty sniper and I always have fun with this set up.
[spoiler]Also, if you run Brimstone you can get a melee charge faster. So instead of doing 117 without a melee charge you almost always have it up to do 139 and blow them up.[/spoiler]

Just because you think it doesn't need a buff, doesn't mean overall it is not good. Starfire protocol is a waste of a exotic slot.

How is it not good? I use Sunbreaker Guantlets myself. Solar Flares are fantastic for tagging Guardians.

That's for Voidwalker. Also faster weapon handling and reload isn't worth loseing 2 10 second Solar Grenades.

Actually Quickdraw is for all classes. Solar grenades aren't even that good.

I mean it's an exotic built for Voidwalkers. They last 10 seconds and I get 2 of them with Viking Funeral and Touch if Flame. It's potent in PvE and PvP

Yeah solar grenades where potent until everyone ran silimar like talk about over kill. In that case they might as well make a artificial that reduces damage for grenades that track but even without silimar it's irritating seeing people walk through it t bag and still not die

I also don't like how sometimes the melee doesn't even register but it's says I used it on every other class this never happens at least when I use them but sunsinger it's all too often

Since Bungie's last patch fix for melees I haven't noticed that happening much.
