Come on guys! He's the community manager along with cozmo and urk. Not the CEO or the devs! It's not their fault that this game is weak now! They receive orders from their boss, and they do what they're told. The TWAB is probably what he was told to put, and he most likely couldn't put any more news in it. Give criticism to the people who deserve it.
Those people aren't deej or cozmo!
3 RespuestasEditado por erik: 1/28/2017 5:21:00 PMLet's be honest. If this community were properly managed half the crap that goes on wouldn't take place. I'm pretty sure D. didn't even play destiny for a while. I mean, the extent of interaction from Cozmo and D is essentially a rhetorical, often confrontational forum post once or twice a week. As much as the new popular bandwagon is to blame the problems on the community, you have to ask yourself, "where did the problems come from?" Was it the community who cut content? Did the community lie about essentially every addition to destiny? Did the community lie about the entire PREMISE of destiny? I don't think so. Additionally, it's my opinion that the increase in the people preaching about how evil we are and how great Bungo is, is nothing more or less than people wanting to hop on the bandwagon. Much as it was a bandwagon to hate on destiny for a while, or to say nerf "x" or even to hate on each other - calling other people cancer, aids, or muting scrubs that disagree with you, the bandwagon is now to make excuses for Bungo and hate on people who criticise them. Some people just want to be the cool kid. But, that doesn't change the facts. The criticism is there, and it's there with good reason. THAT is the real problem with this community, and that is what makes it toxic. Not criticism, not praise, not speaking your opinion. Rather, not formulating your own opinion and simply preaching whatever rhetoric you see is popular today on the Bungie forums, and slamming anyone who disagrees with the "majority."
Ironically, the only reason the majority is a majority, is because everyone needs their seat on the bandwagon
1 RespuestaThe messenger always gets the shit end of the stick. But in reality, he doesn't care because sticks and stones, his paycheck is FAT, and he knows what his job title is and what it entails. He's not a prisoner. He's a high paid messenger, who gets shit flung at him but does not really care. He doesn't let it bother him. That's why when the lions in here want to kill the sheep, he always says some thing to the effect of: "Just so you know the community is never wrong we are not calling you liars" He's trying to use calming psychology. No need to free someone one who knows his job title means monkeys fling vocal feces at him. Personally I know he is just a messenger, but most of this toxic community forget to take their meds before jumping on the forums, and reading weekly updates. So no: #deejdoesntneedfreed #hegetspaidtotriggermellenials #daddylovesmetoomuchatnightsoineedatrophyforsucking

I'm glad I don't have their jobs. Do you know how hard it probably is for them to write responses or TWAB without completely losing their shit on everyone? If I were them I would've been fired a long time ago.

4 Respuestas-blam!- deej and -blam!- anyone who thinks that he needs saving. he is nothing but a stooge that does not deserve a 2nd thought. this game is dead. activision has made sure of that. he is complacent with all the bull shit and made far to many joke/puns about it. i still play this game sadley and still have high hopes for it. i wont pay for d2. i might rent it but after that it is highly questionable.

2 RespuestasLol it'd be easier to shove a wet noodle up a bobcat's ass in a telephone booth than manage this joke of a community. It's no wonder they hardly come around anymore as much shit as they get for things outside of their control.

I think maybe if he didn't find a way to mouth people off in a snarky post he'd have a lot more respect. He's frequently broken the Code of Conduct as well, which when anyone else does, results in a ban. Probably a good reason everyone is using reddit

4 RespuestasThere is no Deej. Just a collection of Seattle area dads who have all gone missing and are presented by Bungie as one person.

Yeah but, it's easier than saying -blam!- all of bungie and Activision. I've met butchers who cut less.
-
I'm pretty sure they represent the company being employed and all....

1 RespuestaAgree. Cozmo and Deej are the middle men. They do a great job at the things they do. People in these forums want someone who will communicate all the time yet I can safely bet $100 that if they were the community manager, they wouldn't be doing what they're wanting from Deej or Cozmo 🐸🍵

1 RespuestaPer usual the people that are so vocal about things (in a negative way) are prob only 5 to 10 percent of the community, but they make so much noise it seems like everybody hates him and the game. Most of us really enjoy it, while still hoping for improvement, and understand that building an entire video game takes...gasp...time! Most weeks there probably isn't much to report. Probably shouldn't have TWAB to be honest, maybe twice a month or something.

Editado por NinjaMatic: 1/28/2017 6:11:25 PMYeah, I agree. The only stipulation I'd add is that they are the public faces of the company. When they took the job they must have known that they would get all the love and hate from the comunity. That doesn't justify abuse, but I'd hope they were the kind of people with thick skin before they started. I occasionally wonder how they are doing. Just immagine how hard it must be to write a page or two that says almost nothing every week just to get moaned at. I'm sure they'd love to tell us all about the things they are seeing, but they are being told what they can and can't talk about. I bet they're getting paid reasonably well to be Destiny's toilet. It would take a lot of money to keep me coming back to get shit on by the comunity week after week, and I doubt they'd risk loosing their jobs just to tell us some tid bit of info that we'd be over in a week.
