My stance, NO, its not ok to Breastfeed uncovered in public at a restaurant while I'm eating a savory juicy steak
Her stance, uncovered or not, Its OK to do while some one is eating their juicy steak, and if they tell management and she knows who told them, she kicking their ass

I understand it can make you feel uncomfortable but look the other way if it really bothers you and if you can't, just politely ask for another seat.

I think men are generally uncomfortable with women breast feeding because tits are seen as sexual objects not a babies necessity for life. Also men don't want to get caught staring at the breastfeeding mothers tits by the mother or their significant other.
