Bungie response time

Um so it takes about 15 years for an update to come out after something is very op. Why is this? Other companies such as blizzard fix these things within a week, and blizzard has way more games on their hands than you do! Just wondering. Obviously, there will always be a meta, but a really dumb one for like 10 months is a bit out of hand.

  • They have learned from their mistakes during Taken King balance patch. Hand Cannons were a lot worse back then, so bad that almost no one used them, until April update when they were adjusted. They probably don't want to be so heavy handed and make sure to thoroughly test it over months before releasing it. Plus, with D2 looking likely for a release this year, that's probably their focus.

  • I feel like Bungie is trying to slowly let this game die until Destiny 2 comes out. Best logical reasoning why they try to utilize all their resources on Destiny 2.
