Isn't that just proving the point though? Burn primaries make all kinetic damage primaries near useless. Why would you use that vendor weapon in PvE when this gun over here is just going to be more useful?

Editado por GANTZ: 1/26/2017 12:16:31 PMkintetic weapons are useless by design because they don't work on shields , the removal of viable weapons only made the situation worse
-
well, not in pvp. people might still use kinetic primaries anyway. i know i would occasionally. especially given the raid weapons they've been coming up with lately
-
They don't make them useless. In Y1, i used kinetic damage primaries almost exclusively for PVP. Why? The rolls were better FOR PVP. Y1 raid guns were good PVE guns, but few were actually usable/competitive in PVP. And there is nothing wrong with elemental primary guns being more powerful as they are END GAME guns. They should be more powerful than your average run-of-the-mill gun. And they only have the effect in PVE, so really - who cares? People who AREN'T using elemental primaries are not harmed if someone else is using one - just the same as how an every day person driving a honda civic isn't harmed if someone is driving a Ferrari. Its simply nonsense.

Hence the suggestion of getting an elemental core. Solar core dropped or purchased then have a quest line to infuse said core into any weapon.
Hence the suggestion of getting an elemental core. Solar core dropped or purchased then have a quest line to infuse said core into any weapon.
No. Elemental primaries are endgame rewards. The path to get them should be through endgame only. Either the cores can be RNG, or they can come from dismantling raid guns which have elemental burn (void gun gives void core, solar gun gives solar core, etc.) But the point is that the only path to them should be through the endgame. This gives endgame the purpose it currently lacks.

I have never done a hard raid in this DLC there's no purpose to it.
-
Amen, with you there mate. Haven't even completed kings fall on hard either. Like what's the point?
-
I would like to do it, we don't have 6 anymore. We always did all the raids all the time. #norandos
I have never done a hard raid in this DLC there's no purpose to it.
Your proving my point. If the raid guns had elemental burn and decent rolls, you would do a hard raid to get them. Once you had all the guns, if you could dismantle the primaries and get their cores so you could infuse them into other kinetic guns, you'd keep doing it so you could upgrade your other guns. That gives the raids purpose. Right now, there's simply no reason to do them.

Remember forever 29 and fake 30s? Which is worse?
-
Forever 29 wasn't that bad TBH. Frustrating? Perhaps, but I still earned a crapton of great loot trying to get to 30 before TDB. And when TDB came out, they figured out that they needed to make the raid a tad more generous. You don't hear about any #forever31's now do you? There's a reason for that...
