I think he already knows you don't like him and complaining about it won't change the fact that he is now our Commander in Chief whether you like it or not. He won the election and you're just going to have to deal with it. Trump isn't going to quit because I bunch of people don't like him and I doubt Congress will take action either.

Ha! Authoritarian argument! Pursue your subservient conduct if you have no independent intuition.

All these protests are stupid. They're not gonna accomplish anything except be loud and annoying. One of the big protest against Trump happened near my house and I couldn't even sleep and I had a huge test the following day. So when a kid brung up the anti-Trump protest I literally just started to curse him out

41 RespuestasTo show that our political system is clearly broken when someone loses the election and is still president. You know that you can become president with 23% of the popular vote? This country is broken.
-
2 RespuestasThe thing is protesting could change it but the protests are so tiny that it doesn't matter.
-
3 RespuestasProof that he knows protesters don't like him, please.
-
3 RespuestasThis one serves to remind Trump and his that there are people who don't agree, and won't just bend over and take it. Reminds them that they are not, in fact, the supreme power of the land, but just the newest temporary employee of the people, and if they overstep their bounds, they won't hold power for long.
-
3 RespuestasAs soon as he learns how to "deal with" people not liking him... So far he has shown he is incapable of letting anything go...
-
3 RespuestasThe protesting is more likely to divide the country than it is the unify it. The protesters are saying how bad he is and that he is a Tyrant yet he hasn't been president that long to become anything much yet. The protesters are nothing more than children bitching because they didn't get their way. A lot of people failed to realize that it was an election and that there was a chance either side could win or lose. Too many people took it for granted that Trump would lose and now they losing their shit. Also for the women's protest that went on, wtf was that all about? What rights do they not have that men have? In too many cases they seem like they have more rights than men. Trump made the grab them by the pussy comment....ok so what? I've heard both genders say much worse about the other gender. Also that comment doesn't take away any right they have. Either people come back down to earth or they need to hop back on their mothership and fly far far from the rest of us that have common sense.
-
They aren't protesting against him they just want an excuse to vandalize and steal shit
-
The protests won't stop because they are not organic but artificial. The "protests" consists of "professional activists", paid protesters, opportunistic looters and just a few sheep swept up in the herd that genuinely believe they're doing something.
-
3 RespuestasIt accomplishes nothing. People could protest every day for 4 years and unless trump gets himself thrown out (very possible) he would remain president. I said the same thing when people protested against Obama after he was elected.
-
It gives me free comedy so they can do it all they want.
-
9 RespuestasExcept when you see 3 million people protesting across the US, elected officials see that and go "oh shit, maybe people are really upset about something. Better pay attention so I can be re-elected"
-
1 RespuestaWhat I want to know is which rights women don't have.
-
2 RespuestasLiberals dont "peacefully protest" they riot.
-
I disagree. If someone feels strongly enough to protest, they ought to do it. It gives the general public a chance to hear their grievances. The best part is, if they come out and they don't have a good message, people know what they stand for in the future. We should give anyone the chance to promote their own ideology and the ones that are good win, and the ones that are bad lose and get left behind.
-
10 RespuestasThe protests aren't too make him quit. They are to raise awareness that he is making horrible decisions that will inevitably hurt the country. Protests are to show how many people, in this case a lot, disagree with the decisions he is making as president. He works for us.
-
This. Way I see it, whether we had Trump or Hillary, the president would have been highly dislike. For now just deal with the shit storm we would've had with either side.
tough times never last, tough people do.
-
As someone that doesn't like trump at all...
This.
-
Why bother protesting Obama?

Why did people protest Obama for 8 years? I think by the time he was elected he knew who didn't like him, no reason to keep telling him.

The Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution. -Preamble to the Bill of Rights, U.S. Constitution Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. -First Amendment, U.S. Constitution

Its part of democracy. The more extreme the leader, the more important things like protesting are
-
The greatest expression of freedom of speech is screaming something insipidly stupid at the top of your lungs and it's okay.

Protesting is an effective strategy look what happened with the pipeline Obama stopped production because of protesting. It is how people express their concerns with what is being done, some people protest because they like to troll and cause problems, but others are well informed and want to cause change. Remember It is better to live on your feet, then die on your knees.
