12 bucks says the Cabal emperor is a psion.
I know that sounds kinda weird but think about it.
The mind of a Psion is unparalleled. In Cayde's words, they were able to "tangle with rasputin."
Rasputin is a Warmind. An A.I. programming that was built to win wars and defend the human race. Obviously he didn't do that, but he was still designed to [i]win.[/i] Which is.. technically what he's doing.
Cabal are a highly militarized race. Everything about them deals with wars and conquering.
What better candidate to call the shots and make military decisions than a ultra intelligent Psion?

2 RespuestasA psion emperor would be more fun to fight than a fat cabal. But, psions are a slave race. The cabal captured them and sort of use them to fly their ships and control their technology. So I don't know if they would have a slave for an emperor. Another thing is that an emperor isn't elected, it's whoever is the previous emperor's child, and the cabal captured the psion after they already had an emperor so I don't think it's possible, sadly.
