Destiny's PVP Isn't As Bad As You Are
Been reading through this side of the forum for a few hours and I genuinely can't believe how many people are crying about how ABSOLUTELY TRASH the PVP is.
What. The. Hell. Are you talking about?
[i]Too many people with a shotgun? [/i] Pick up a good fusion rifle or decent sidearm and practice.

THE LAG, THE LATENCY, THE HORROR![/i] You should probably look into TTK and make sure you werent simply outgunned by a superior weapon at that range. Lag and latency issues are a real thing and I have definitely experienced it but it isnt as bad as you wish it was. 7/10 times you were beat down by a better weapon.
DDoS is a major issue when it happens and I hope bungie figures out a fix sooner than later but a real ddos attack is rare.
You cry when a weapon is overpowered only to cry again when the weapon is no longer overwhelming. There is literally no pleasing some of you and its bloody annoying. I want to see the exploits of other guardians and trade stories about unreal kills and see everyone either try to get better or concede that they just aren't cut out for it. It's okay to be trash at PVP. Its a game.

It isn't perfect but what is? I've had a lot of fun in Destiny's PvP and I've had times when it's rage-o-rama supreme. I just hope that Destiny 2's PvP has dedicated servers.

It may not be as bad as people say it is on the forums....But it sure as hell has never been remotely close to "good".

7 RespuestasIt is horrible, and yes I am shit at it. Just because I am shit at it doesn't mean I don't see all the other problems. I will admit I have been outgunned more than I have been out-lagged, but nonetheless.

Its hard yo get outgunnef at point blank range and firing 3 times with a shotgun only to see his shields stay full until the 3rd one brings them down be 1/2. This in addition to another teammate shooting him (also in his face) so his shields finally drop. Tho guardian lived because we had better things to do and it was a waste of time. And while that is not daily, seeing lag like that several times in a week shouldnt be.

12 RespuestasWell the design is genuinely the problem. I'm not talking weapon and ability balance, pure game design. It's been a problem since day 1. Funny enough if you go to minimum gear and perks for classes it plays a hell of a lot more competently.

Yay finally some truth about PvP u either get good by practicing, learn from others or both. I've gotten better at it simply by pairing my scout rifle with a decent sidearm. Now if only I could get a cocytus with the scope that gives it good target acquisition and mostly the same roll as my current one otherwise.
