So for this post I won't be making a theory myself but I am going to go over some that have been proven wrong but are still perpetuated by those who are new to lore. This is a post primarily to educate newer guardians and hopefully help keep #lore progressing. So without any further delay. Here it goes: [b]THE TRAVELER IS EVIL[/b]: so this one comes up every week by a new guardian who just saw matpats video or read one of the other posts. So to start off with there isn't any actual proof of her being evil. On the other hand there is plenty of proof to the contrary such as the fact that destiny doesn't have good and evil. So at the very worst she wishes us harm and at the best she wants nothing more than the survival of everything. The books of sorrow also adds much more evidence with the traveler helping everything she meets. She's also the only thing that kept us from extinction. [b]rasputin shot the traveler[/b]: again this theory has no real supporting evidence and can easily be proven wrong. First off in the dreams of Alpha Lupi she states that she had no intention of leaving thus Rasputin would have no reason to shoot her. Also the card that details his plan is nothing more than a plan. It is never enacted upon. [b]the speaker is evil.[/b]: like the traveler is evil it has no evidence. It makes no sense either. What does he have to gain that is worth the incredible strain being the speaker has. He doesn't even experts payment. Those are just three bad but common theories that are wrong but I only put these in as I felt them to be the worst. Let me know what I left out but please provide evidence if you think I'm wrong.
