People only use the gun because it is still pretty competitive and honestly easy to use.
You even notice that the meta never really has guns that are that hard to use? Before anyone says anything, yes snipers are easy to use in this game, it doesn't take too much skill to watch a corridor with a scoped rifle no matter what people believe.

Snipers are easy to use?? Your KD is like Shaqs free throw percentage. Cmon man. I'm barely positive and I can easily admit that snipers are not easy to use, nor is the last word in this meta.

Ah yes the "your KD sucks argument" I can hit well over half of my shots with a sniper and my KD sucks because im the mythical player who doesn't play the meta and actually plays the objective instead of treating every game mode like Clash

Hmmmm... We have several players that play with us that can use just about any weapon as well, but they never drop below 1.7... While I somewhat get your point, skill is still skill.

Some people do have skill ill admit and they have more than i will Im more talking about that guy who gave up on CoD and thinks that watching a doorway with a high powered rifle means he has skill. Get stuck playing on any map with a really active fire lane and you'll find at least one gun stealing kills or just picking off people who can't do much about it (Asylum is a good example of that) [spoiler]Sorry for being a bit rude, but you can imagine how many people give me the KD argument because I don't conform to the meta gameplay. I mostly use Autos, sidearm/high rof shotgun, and Defender[/spoiler]

Honestly I wouldn't even care much if it wasn't for the map rotations only ever having short range maps. Add First Light into Clash or Control and ill actually enjoy sniper fights

I definitely agree with that... I wish they'd add those maps as well.

I bet you'd still have those guys trying to use The Last Word as a sniper and blaming the misses on bloom though I get why people hate it but i just use the guns in their range and rarely get any issues
