Icebreaker drop rate
I haven't gotten icebreaker to drop after doing it every nightfall on both my characters. Do u guys think they should increase the drop rate?

Finally got mine last night on attempt 13. We 2 manned it and I redeemed my Sunrise bounty back at the tower. I'll probably drop down to 1 Nightfall/week or more if friends need help. Glad the grind is over.

Most info I've seen says the drop rate is about 2.5 - 3% per bounty. That's pretty low but probably not far off the year 1 raid exotic drop rates. I just got my Icebreaker today after 7 tries. Now I can go farm the year 1 raids

I just got mine last night after only turning in 4 sunrise bounties. I believe I saw somewhere that the drop rate is around 7.5% though.

3 RespuestasI haven't touched the game since it dropped for me. Nothing to do. It's gotten so lame at this point that they're using the same weapons we already had to try to keep us playing. There's always something with a ridiculously low drop percentage to keep you grinding, but seriously Ice breaker and the raid ship don't do it for me. I don't care if I ever get that satellite antenna of a ship.

2 RespuestasI personally disagree with increasing the drop rate, but I do wish they add some sort of token item to get the gun right away after a certain amount of "Sun Rise" bounty completions (Maybe like 20 or more) and can still drop without using the tokens, so that the players are not wasting their time for something they don't really need. PS: I do have the year 1 version, since it's pretty much the same gun, I'm not going to grind for a bigger number.

I finally got the ice breaker after 15 tries. So 1 - 15 isn't really that bad, considering the NF'S don't return you to orbit, and have been relatively easy since the dawning... Hence the fact that most if not all of my NF completions have been 2 manned.

I think the drop rate is fine. I got mine my 6th nightfall. I was doing it solo each time.

2 RespuestasI ran it 12 times so far, but have a friend new to the game that I've been helping out and run the nightfall with when I have the time. one day, maybe a few days after his 2nd attempt he nonchalantly asks me to inspect the sniper he has (he asks me to inspect his gear often) and I see he has ice breaker. the salt was real, but I congratulated him

No, I hope some people never get it. There should always be gear to try and get instead of everyone having every gun. I still don't have a Pretorean Foil and I'm ok with that. Do I want it, you bet your sweet ass I do. In yr 1, legendary engrams were really rare and exotic drops were too. I think for Destiny 2, I'd like to see way more guns and super low drop rates. I want to be excited when I get a rare gun, or ship, or shader, or piece of gear.
