as a year one player who couldn't wait for this exotic (only to be let down when it actually arrived in game) I now believe it is the worst exotic in the entire game and needs a buff!! Unfortunately to restore this armor to its original design could potentially break PvP and would not be the answer to this problem. So to make this armor relevant without breaking the balance between classes the new perk can't add to the warlocks existing abilities or stats (armor, recovery, agility) that only leaves the abilities the warlock already has. While reading through other posts regarding this issue I found a suggestion that seems as though it may be the answer. Dream perk: grants the Blink ability node. Blink binds to 0/B while airborne and can not be activated if glide was used in the same jump. This would not break any aspect of the game for the simple reason that it does not improve the blink or glide abilities, merely giving the player more control over getting where they want to go and how. The goal for this post is to provide bungie with a valid replacement perk. To do this the proposed exotic perk must provide the user with more satisfying gameplay without putting competing players at a disadvantage. If you like this idea then bump this post so it gets seen, if you don't like it or have any suggestions on alternative perks comment with your reasoning, all genuine input will be appreciated.
