Planned Parenthood has received more than 315,000 donations since Donald Trump won the presidency — and more than 82,000 of those were made in the name of Indiana governor and noted uterine legislator Mike Pence.
The vice-president-elect, who has yet to prove that he understands how condoms work, is vehemently anti-abortion and has an abysmal record on women’s health. He has also waged a long-standing war against Planned Parenthood. To show their support of the organization (and to piss Pence off at the same time), people have been donating to Planned Parenthood in his name since the election. Pence will get thank-you notes for each of the donations.
Based on data provided to the Cut by a spokesperson, 26 percent of the donations Planned Parenthood has received since the election have come from “Mike Pence.” On November 30, that figure was 28 percent, or 72,000 out of more than 260,000 total, while on November 15, it was 12.5 percent, or 20,000 donations out of 160,000 total. It’s so nice that, for once, Pence’s name is being used to actually help women.
How thoughtful of him.

6 Respuestashttps://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/summary.php?id=D000000591 So why does a "nonprofit" that has 124 million in surplus in one year, spends almost 15 million in political donations, pays a CEO 3/4 of a million a year, and receives all these private donations need federal funding?

16 RespuestasEditado por Ghost of Reach: 12/29/2016 4:12:49 PM*triggered* Yes, deny children the ability to live. Because that is the "right" thing to do. I'm going to get a lot of "but the mother health is more important!" Or "what about -blam!-!" Why should a child die for the mother or father's crime? Is that just? If we are so much about justice, then why don't these children get justice? Don't tell be they aren't human or they are parasites! Or they don't have rights! That's bullshit! We are all parasites to this planet we call earth, we've drained its resources, we've polluted it, and destroying its other inhabitants without so much of a blink of an eye. We have been bad stewards to it. But I digress... It's a common thing to talk about equality, but it doesn't include ageism, "a 2 week old fetus isn't a human" or "it doesn't have the same right to life as the rest of us." That's bullshit! It's a developing child, and has the same rights as a child is has been born or anyone else such as myself. Stop bragging about how far equality has come when our children are discriminated against because of his or her stage in life. If a child is not equal (fetus or not), then no one will ever been truly be equal.

3 Respuestasabolish abortion mothers and fathers can stop being irresponsible brats and deal with the decisions that they make. you didn't use protection, but you don't want a kid, are you that dense to say that after not taking the precautions necessary to not have a kid when having sex? even if it was -blam!- there is a thing called an orphanage, if you're that big of a whining bastard go there.

27 RespuestasTo be honest I think abortions should be acceptable in certain circumstances, i.e sexual assault victim or perhaps serious neurological development defects? That said, these people who terminate babies because of disability make me sick. ( Some couple who is friends with my wife's friend recently terminated baby due to Down's syndrome, and are currently milking it massively on Facebook. I'm talking sob story status making out the had no choice due to "genetic complications" and even tattoos. Disgusting idiots.) The only plus side is that these sort of selfish people would have most likely been terrible parents anyway.

20 RespuestasMaybe aborting someone with a serious genetic defect is possibly ok, but if it is a perfectly normal child, I am very against aborting it. Yes you may not want it because of financial difficulties or something similar, but get this: if you don't want a child,
D O N ' T H A V E S E X I N T H E F I R S T P LA C E
15 RespuestasLol. That's actually pretty funny. Personally, I'm okay with abortion in any circumstance. I can't see why there's a problem with it myself. The kid isn't born, the kid isn't yet human to me, therefore there's no problem with it. Not only that, but the kid would grow up with at least 1 of its parent's not wanting it or be adopted and have to go through life knowing their parents didn't want them. Not only that, but for some people, it's not financially feasible to have a kid, meaning the kid would have to grow up barely able to have anything besides necessities, if they even got those. And some mothers plain and simple don't want to have to go through the pain of childbirth. And guess what? I don't blame them. And, lastly (and the actual main reason I'm okay with it), fetuses are not aware of their very existence. I'm not sure if I ever even want kids. However, if I did end up wanting kids and got my wife pregnant and she for some reason wanted an abortion, (though I may not be happy about it) I would support her decision. And if it was gonna end up having Down Syndrome or some other major physical or mental disability, I'd give her two options; A) abortion, or B) adoption. I know that last part is gonna be very controversial, but it's my point of view. If you disagree with what I have to say, I'm open to intelligent conversation, but if you're gonna be dense as a religious nutjob, I'm just not gonna reply.
