If you are talking about base melee damage, yes. They feel weaker than a Titans and warlocks melee.
Throwing knife, bring back precision hits being one hit kills (or at least make them one hit kills at certain ranges. Particularly close ranges.)
Blink strike, a little more damage (we can all agree it is weak compared to other melees)
Smoke, leave the same.

Throwing knives were only a OHK if AND only if the Hunter was running incendiary blade and got a head shot PLUS the Guardian was running minimum armor. It was such a rare confluence of events that people didn't even know it could be done.
-
No, they were OHK with any kind of knife upgrade as long as it were a precision hit.
-
Nope
The Throwing Knife was creating some frustration, especially with the Incendiary Blade upgrade, so we nudged the damage down slightly. This will ensure that low armor players can’t be killed in a single headshot (with the extra burn damage from the Incendiary Blade upgrade).
They never were a OHK.

Never in my experiences
-
So glad you aren't in charge of balance.
-
that's a fact lmaooooo

It was mostly a joke. But I do stand with the suggestion if giving the throwing knife that "sweet spot" for a OHK. It's frustrating landing that perfect throw right in between the eyes, but the guy who was hit doesn't die, keeping a third of his health, and kills you with a shotgun. Everything else was just a joke.

The only way that would be plausible though is if you use incendiary blade because a skilled player with double knives and the instant precision reset would really be at a huge advantage if they one hit kill without the burn
-
I can see your confusion after seeing that you are a warlock. Throwing knife was perfect before the nerf. It is only a 1/4 chance of landing headshots with the melee. Being a OHK on precision shots was a reward. It was never op. Now sorry if this hurts your feelings, but after warlocks lost their CONSTANT OHK melees from year 1, they wanted throwing knife to loose this capability because "if I can't have it, then no one can." But I am sure a lot of people would be happy to have throwing knife be a OHK again. All you need are these simple requirements to make it balanced: 1). Must be precision hit And 2). Must be at a certain range, between basic melee range and the range of some low range shotguns.

I have plenty of time on my Hunter to know what I'm talking about. I mained it during the taken king as a gunslinger. It is not hard to be proficient with throwing knives and making them one hit kill without the burn would absolutely be unbalanced. And additionally, please name which Warlock melee would one hit kill someone without being in radiance. Sure susnsingers could if the opposing player ran 1 armor but nobody does that so it never happened. You are the one that sounds ridiculous here not me.

If you didn't play year 1, you don't know what your talking about. Warlocks were OP for the vast majority of this games existence, and Hunter melees were actually usable. Throwing knife had a golden time for a while because they were able to OHK any Guardian with a precision hit, no matter what perks were equipped. Because a certain group complained about loosing their OP powers, hunter melees and grenades were made nearly useless.
-
I'm gonna go ahead and ignore you from now on because you clearly bought a different game.
-
That's because destiny was a different game in year 1.
