You can do it! But you're NOT entitled

So many people on this forum can't seem to wrap their heads around the concept of beating your opponent by legitimately outplaying them and having a greater knowledge of the game. I am a normal guy. 16, athletic, and have a normal life (aside from putting an unusual amount of time into destiny). I am not some forty year old man who lives in his parent's basement, but every time I try to reason with people about the merit of actual skill I am treated as such. If you want to win, if you are frustrated at being beat by players who are theoretically "better" than you, you need to remember that Confidence is KEY in trials. If you go into a match thinking to yourself "there's no way we beat these guys" guess what? You probably won't beat them. Adapt to their play style. Hell, be CHEESY if you have to, but anyone can win even against the best players. Don't rule out the possibility of your victory just because of your stats, andespecially don't act like it's unfair if you don't win. No one has any less ability to improve than anyone else. If you work at it you will improve. Ideas like forcing flawless players out of trials or into their own separate matchmaking are just band-aid fixes for your lack of experience, and frankly it is embarrassing that so much of this community agrees with changes such as these. Be confident. Improve yourself instead of working to bring others down, and maybe you will have more success. Thanks for reading, Sg553airborne
