I'm pretty happy to hear this morning that Melbourne (Australia,) Police have foiled a terror plot set for Christmas, and apprehended the 7 suspects.
Great to see good police-work in action, preventing terrorist attacks.
Something to note: I see a lot of people blaming Muslim immigrants, so I feel I need to straighten this out. These terrorists were born in Australia, and were radicalised online.
You know what would be spooky? If it was done on Bungie.net
3 RespuestasEditado por Sober As A Bird: 12/23/2016 2:32:41 PMRead your spoiler, that's true about immigrants. But there is still a common thread, Islam is out of control and needs to police it's own craziness. I never hear from moderate Muslims about how these Islamists are nuts and not part of the main group. All we hear is that Islam isn't to blame and if we disagree we're islamaphobic. Not the case. Additionally, before everyone defends the current atrocities by comparing them to the Catholic reformation or the inquisition, times have changed. We have more knowledge at our fingertips than the most educated people from even 25 years ago. So stop making excuses and let's solve the problem.

2 RespuestasThey were Muslim, so blaming Islam is logical, not racist. Blaming migrants is f-ing stupid though, this is Australia, not Europe

Good to hear. It's a tragedy they couldn't save Steve Irwin.

Now if only they could arrest people for putting fraud on my credit card then we will have peace on earth.

If it was done on Bungie.net

As an australian, what exactly is the difference in being radicalised offline and online? None. That's it. Even worse is the fact those muslims are of middle-eastern roots. LOL!

3 RespuestasEditado por Commander Tempu: 12/23/2016 2:51:11 PMHere is my thoughts on the matter. Simply people who are terrorist could be your next door neighbor. The difference between a street thug and terrorist are few between. So profiling them on faith is pointless as is social status or anything else. Christians have terrorist as well. Ruby Ridge Waco ect. So the only thing that ties them together is being radicals. Extremest have started wars in the past and seem to fight for some crazy ideal or faith they take out of context to justify conduct or misdeeds. The way we beat these guys is by living our lives and let natural selection happen. I have full faith that people in the intelligence community, police and special forces are putting fear into them as these people seem to have the idea that no retaliation will happen.
