A heart warming Christmas tale
So last Sunday to this girl's apt to help her study for her CPhT exam. Single Mom of two girls. I get there and they have no furniture. At all, aside from 1 bed they all share. We sat on the floor and studied. Her girls have no toys and no Christmas tree. They were drawing me pictures on paper towels. I left in tears. I told my ex-wife and a couple people at work. So far my ex has dropped $300 for clothes, the pharmacist at work is getting her a couch and her girls beds, $500 in gift cards from another friend of mine. My raid team, Extraordinary Guardians, even sent money to me via PayPal.
The response has been amazing. I'm bringing it all to her tomorrow night to surprise her. Can't wait to see her face!
UPDATE 1: Just delivered a car load of groceries and handfuls of presents. She was in shock to say the least.
