The Division has turned into a much better game than Destiny.
DLC content isn't required to play the game, and I very rarely find myself needing to play the DLC content. All endgame content is kept relevant with each new update. Massive doesn't cater to just the PvP community, and PvP specific nerfs and buffs very rarely impact PvE. Massive has QnA's and holds the "state of the game" podcast weekly, letting the community know what might be changed, will be changed, when it will be changed, and how it will be changed.
They have admitted their game sucked, and even pushed back a DLC in order to fix it. They haven't waited for months on end just to release a tiny weapon and game balancing update that barely does anything to fix the game.
Again, I will say that the amount of endgame content everyone has access to is enormous. With the DLCs, players get 3 more endgame activities that don't give them an advantage over others. There are more ways for people to customize their builds, and the game feels great.
You can't deny Massive has done a much better job handling their game than Bungie has up to this point in time.

1 RespuestaEditado por Yersago123: 12/25/2016 4:27:27 AMIt's an improvement but it has a way to go. The game honestly felt like a beta throughout most of the year
-
1 RespuestaEven if was a ps plus free game I couldn't be bothered playing it.
-
Satire is strong with this one. We'll see you in court.

Editado por Dredgen Dread: 12/25/2016 4:04:48 AMIt took them a year to fix that monstrosity of a game, it has about 35% of the player base destiny has, and it's basically a third person duck and cover with the boss versatility of a different colour beanie. If someone buys you the Division they don't like you, if you buy the division you don't like you. Edit: not to mention the DL to fix the game is a 15gb download, you basically have to redownload the entire game... and it still sucks lol.

3 RespuestasI'm going on the division forums to post the opposite. Doesn't that sound like a dumb idea?
-
It's still sitting on my shelf collecting dust and there is will stay. I had zero fun playing it and don't care enough to give it another shot.

They both have good points. They both have bad points. One is third person. One is first person. Depends on player preference.

I played division bout 12 hours before it released (still love you Amazon for delivering it so early) and played for like 36 hours straight and got so bored I still haven't loads it up again. I hit level 29 and had a great setup from what I remember but the game was such a boring mess back then, the DZ was -blam!-ing pointless since it was more beneficial to work with randoms then to kill them. No raid stuff on release and every gun was basically the same. Game is probably better now but I know a lot of people that left solely on how boring it was on release (want to add how rubber bandy the game was on a shittier connection, internets fine for everything else but that game....) I plan to go back soonish I guess but there's always the 3rd person view and I cannot stand that for games like this, I get the leaning shit uses it but it could work just as well with 1st person view

4 Respuestasno...I quit division after my 1000th machine gun.. game sucks..I wasted my money... got the $100 version and haven't played in months.... save that division is better bullshit... both are -blam!-ed up both have shit rng... but destiny is actually more fun
-
I been wanting to play that one.. Gotta wait till it's cheap!

2 RespuestasBuahahaha! Lmao he he he ha ha ho! 😂😅🤣😁😆 Ohhhh... whooo... let me wipe the tears from my eyes that is- that is just too much funny for one post 😀 Let me just breath and stop giggling before I respond... 😁 Ok I'm better now, he he. 🙂 Sooo, to your point: 😐 No. It's not.

2 RespuestasSomehow The Division managed to have worse servers than Destiny. Even the environment and NPC's lag.
-
4 RespuestasThen go play Division, instead of posting about it here...
-
1 RespuestaExcept the gun play is a pile of garbage
-
1 RespuestaThen get the -blam!- out of here, there was no purpose in making this post.
-
I'm loving how the division has turned out as a result of community feedback. The devs actually know what to do over there
-
No mans sky is better than destiny.

The Division and Destiny are too different to quantifiably state if one is a better game. They have belong to different genres and have wildly different mechanics and functions, as well as market towards different audiences. They're too different to be better than each other. However, I do agree that Massive has a far better method for communicating to their community than Bungie does. It is easy to see which developer is more open and transparent with their player base, and I agree that Bungie needs to learn something from Massive if they intend to keep many of Destiny's users on-board in Destiny 2.
-
The game isn't better but the developers are doing a better job. Destiny has never been as broken as The Division has been, however it also has never been as transparent and open about trying to get the game better. It's in good shape now but it was really glitchy, with cheeses far more game breaking than the cheeses of Destiny

2 RespuestasYou mean that game that lost 85% of its playerbase in 2 months? The game that had around 50 of my friends playing it when it released, to now everyone's profile says they haven't played it in 5-6 months? They sure did a good job huh.
-
4 RespuestasI went to play it the other day, after quitting a long time ago. 6 hour update, took the disc straight out
-
2 RespuestasI would rather play bible games 2.
-
1 RespuestaYup. They actually took the time to listen and admit their mistakes. Both games are pretty horrendous grinds (though survival looks cool) but at least they could admit they screwed up and they took the time to fix their game for everyone. You didn't have to wait a year and pay for some of the fixes like destiny did. Still the only game I've ever played to take away content (value) and then charge it's players to buy back their old content.....

When your game it hits rock bottom. Even a small improvement seems like a big improvement. The Division is still a terrible game.
