Trials will soon either:
1.) Be barren of players other than the top .1%
2.) Be removed completely for lack of players.
3.) Change better suited for casuals.
Stats have shown that trials had 900,000+ participants when ROI dropped. It has declined in players every weekend and this weekend had only about 100,000 participants. It's been on a steady decline and soon will only have a few hundred players left if they dont change something. It has not sat at a specific number and if it does it'll be at an all time low
We all know how bungie changes things to be better for casuals.
Trials was said to not be for casuals, however bungie has said things and then changed them.

From what I just saw, the player base for trials has more or less stayed the same other than week 1 RoI and spooky trials. Other than those 3 weeks, trials participation stays pretty much in the 300-400k range. Granted that's a drop from the first trials but it's staying relatively the same.

The population as a whole has decreased in destinys PVP. And it's bs this PVP meta sucks. HROF pulse and shotguns everywhere. No one wants to play that crap. Trials won't get changed, but this meta will. And then hopefully the population will come back. And if it doesn't then we can talk about making trials easier.
-
Specifically what shotgun? I know you know. :)
-
Trials wasn't made for casuals bungie won't make it easier for them to go flawless
-
There is a margin between something possible and impossible. Currently, it's pretty much impossible for the average crucible player, simply because how the system is made.
-
It's not for average players. How hard is that for everyone to understand?
-
It used to be in Y1.
-
No it wasn't it just was easier to get lucky and get matched with scrubs 9x because scrubs/casuals were more abundant.
-
The population was higher and you didn't have to fight a 8-0 team on your last match... so yes, it was easier.
