If destiny 2 is on PC, it would be a big help to destiny as a franchise. There could be mods, better graphics, better frames, bigger vaults. PC is better than console.

13 RespuestasGraphics I really never understood the... need... for. A game can look great and be shit or look like crap and be awesome. The minute, almost unnoticed difference between the two isn't worth the effort or cost. PC setups are clunky and uncomfortable. I stand and sit at a desk all day, like hell if I want to go home and do the same. Besides, consoles are easily protable. Mods, meh. I could care less. Big shooters like Destiny wouldn't have support for them. Security. Security. Security. PC, even with good AV software has ABSOLUTE SHIT security. This is what drives me away from PC gaming. Too many hackers, viruses, cheaters galore, etc. All the proof I need are the streamers that get hit with them left and right. Not saying console is without, but it is far less popular or done. I play games to relax and have fun, consoles are easier to do such with. Besides, you can't play with 3 drunk friends split screen on a PC easily if at all. As many have said, there are no wrong answers, only opinions.
Regards to Destiny, they won't leave their lifeblood players behind. PC will be on par with console if released. No more, no less.
1 Respuesta1. No duh. A custom PC will be better if it's well made. Spend about $800 or more up front and you don't pay for subscriptions and just occasionally upgrade it to keep up. 2. Mods on an always online game? You know that wouldn't happen in a game like destiny right? 3. OK sorry I still can't get over the thought you would think destiny would let you mod the always online system they have set up. Even GTA V only let's you mod the offline aspect because they know how much of a catastrophe that would be.

So many people are all saying the same thing and it's all wrong!

4 Respuestas
PC is better than Console. Prove me wrong.
Sitting is bad for you. You can't use a mouse and keyboard while laying down. A PS4 or Xbox One costs about $250 right now, which is less than the cost of one graphics card. PC playlists are full of cheaters. Like 90% cheaters and 10% legit players. Most PC gamers run Windows. Dare I say more?

1 RespuestaKnowing PC players, y'all are just going to bitch and complain that Destiny 2 is a shitty console port like you do with other games...

1 RespuestaNo person with a job has time to build a PC. Plug n Play consoles are much easier. They require little maintenance and take 10 minutes to set up. The OS on a console is designed for gaming and entertainment and doesn't need to be installed. Consoles run fine and the graphics still look great. They also require little optimization. In all, it just depends on your life. If you have a lot of free time and know how to build and maintain a PC, then that's a good choice for you. If you have little free time and want to just stretch our on a couch or in bed for a couple hours, then consoles are your choice.

8 RespuestasYes ofvourse it is. PC is better than consoles, better framerates, better grapics, more ram and HD space. But the PC is $2000 agains the consoles $300 to $400, so there is always catch. But you are right, I am pretty sure Destiny would be potentialy better on PC. Problem is that most developers develop with consoles in mind and then port to PC often resulting in sub par graphics for PC standard, and locked 30FPS, and vaultspace will probably be the same on each system as well.

5 RespuestasI used to play games on PC, got tired of buying games and not being able to play them for whatever reason. I'm lazy, so I like buying a game and just knowing it will work without looking at system requirements or anything.

Editado por Cheez_Lad: 12/22/2016 8:03:47 AMMight be b8, but consoles are way cheaper, games aren't though.(plus all the other pc advantages like mods, ect) Also I think the total vault space has to do with bungos servers, not the platform. (but pc might display more items at once.)
-
It won't, because of mods. Fans could write a better story than bungie.

I can see why many people prefer consoles - it's just easier But the better gaming experience is provided by a PC, which is what I care most about.
-
10 RespuestasIt more so personal preference. I prefer consoles as they are easier to get into, as I have been playing consoles since the Atari 2600. So gaming on a mouse and keyboard is a whole new thing that I would have to master. That takes time, and I do not have much time to invest into that. PC gaming itself is harder than consoles to maintain, play on, and more. With a console, the biggest different between other players is their Internet connection. Everybody has the same platform, and to be honest a few extra frames or resolution does not really make a difference online, from what I can tell with the ps4 pro.
-
5 RespuestasIts all preference really. I enjoy playing shooters on a console because the controller is more comfortable and has a trigger. But When i play an rts, its clear that a mouse is far superior. I dont really care about how better the processing power is, i just enjoy the comfort.
-
Spec wise sure, but I'm still a console guy. It's almost like I.. prefer consoles anyway? Yep.

Editado por Psychic Donuts: 12/21/2016 6:17:46 AMIt would not have mods because it is an online only game and that would affect other players effectively throwing the whole game out of balance. It would be a complete mess if they allowed mods. It would potentially have better resolution, textures, etc, at the cost of more development time from Bungie trying to optimize for different drivers. It can have "better frames" but that is essentially the same as "better graphics" because frames are a still picture. Vault space is considered a game mechanic. It would not be bigger. If you think that because all PCs have more space than consoles, which they don't, would affect vault space then you are terribly misinformed. It all comes down to preference. PCs cost more than consoles and require more 'maintenance' but can result in potentially. better performance. Consoles are just easier for the user and are generally more accessible but with the cost of potentiallt worse preformance. This post is -blam!-ing stupid, or it's just a high quality shit post.

I can't you're right.
