I still think there should be a separate division for people who already went flawless. Just to keep the hired guns out.

I go flawless every week. I help friends to do so as well. I will give my perspective on this idea. If this were implemented, then those who go flawless will match only against each other. These fights will be difficult. But that is besides the point. Out of all people who go flawless they can be categorised into: -Those who play with friends -Streamers who play with the public -Those who play just to get their flawless and leave For those who play with friends, they may not even play without their friends, and if they do, they are now blocked from playing with friends. For the streamer types and those who help out, they will either purposely not go flawless to continue their work, and the lack of difficult teams will facilitate their work. For those who just play to get flawless, this wont change anything. All in all, your attempt to separate the flawless players from the rest can be easily bypassed. This is not he change you are looking for, as it is mostly useless.

Actually you are right. I guess there is no real way to do this.
-
You want a system that is fair for all levels of play, and that is understandable and valid. But Trials is not a part of that idea. A whole new mode is needed which is separated by individual skill somehow.
-
No I just don't want the game to die and I see less and less people playing Trials. I personally don't care anymore if I go flawless or not (to go flawless I need the team mates in my skill range or higher) I play Trials because I enjoy the game mode. I also mostly enjoy the games when the matches are close as opposed to getting stomped by some crazy skilled teams and stomping not so skilled teams.
-
Given that Trials has a reputation to be daunting it is not surprising that less people are interested in it. More people would be great, but what can we do in this situation but wait for more players, who wont come until D2? But I agree with your point
-
Well Trials was always supposed to be the elite PvP mode and that's fine at the end but it's just more enjoyable with a bigger variety of players.
-
Terrible idea. People would carry and just not buy boons and go flawless last minute on Monday lul
-
It's a fine idea but that would mean that only people who have gone flawless will be able to play with each other unfortunately
-
I would love to see the streamers go up in arms with this lmao
-
I think that would be even more entertaining as they would face stiffer competition. I actually don't mind streamers doing carries but I think a problem is that not everybody can play Trials all weekend long....
-
Nah I have a problem with it, when it's like a 40/40/20 chance that you will get matched against a streamer who plays 23/7, or a team countries away that lag through any damage output it get a little boring, of course there's the 20% chance to get a decent, fair game right before the lighthouse.
-
That's why I want them in a separate division fighting each other.

Yes because it's only for the best of the best....bla bla bla... To keep the game alive I think it's a necessary step.

Hired guns will just do account recoveries. Many of them already do.
