GunSlinger- boss DPS
BladeDancer- invis medic
NightStalker- boss DPS/Invis medic/Orbs
Striker- Ad killing
Defender- medic/boss DPS
SunBreaker- ad killing/orbs
VoidWalker- ad killing
SunSinger- self-revive/orbs/ad killing
StormCaller- ad killing/orbs
Best Classes for PVE IMO
Nightstalker- great team play with orbs, medic potential and boss DPS
Defender- Great for keeping the team alive in times of need
SunSinger- self-revive is amazing for nightfalls or hard-mode raids
Honorable Mentions-
Voidwalker- Vampire build destroys ad spons and keeps the user alive but the super lacks killing potential and Scatter grenades cause lots of self-harm
BladeDancer- arguably the best medic but that is all it has that shines above everything else
Stormcaller- great roaming Super for ads but the class doesn't provide much else
SunBreaker- great roaming Super with long range potential but that is all it has
Worst-
Gunslinger- Great super, but is a glass-cannon with no additional armor/health. Since the Nerf, grenades aren't as deadly
Striker- Fist of Panic is very limiting and abilities are very close range

1 RespuestaGunslinger with chain of woe and gunslinger's trance makes gun play feel better than any other class as far as weapon handling goes. Pair that with celestial nighthawk and you get a really nice cannon even if it is made of glass.

With the right perksets, loadouts, and playstyle, many of these subclasses can do far more than just what's indicated. While Bladedancers might be best for invisible medic or ad control, their invisibility can make them very efficient against bosses. If you've got Specialist, Solar Burn, and a Bladedancer with Invective, he/she can do a lot of damage. And A Defender with a sword and Iron Harvest on can be the ultimate orb fountain.

2 RespuestasI'm going to disagree, I think a good voidwalker is more valuable than self rez. I'd rather never die thanks to vampire build, than have to rely on my super to get back up all the time... COE back around April really showed how absurdly powerful voidwalkers were in pve. as long as there are lower tier ads like Dreggs or vandals you get infinite grenades, that heal you on kill. it's basically like being mid radiance, but with health regen and a panic super to deal with pesky yellow bars.
-
4 RespuestasDefender Titan is the most sublime subclass in the game. It's super has no offensive capability whatsoever, but there hasn't been any end-game event where a Defender Titan isn't needed, much less crucial to complete it.
-
1 RespuestaStriker is actually somewhat viable, gunslinger on the other hand.... also you forgot to mention boss DPS potential with sunsinger.
-
3 RespuestasI've been playing an optimal setup for my Voidwalker for the last two days because of the Heroic mods. My DPS, add killing and orb creation succeeds other players simply for this reason. Obsidian Mind + Bad Juju + max Intel. Just throw the bombs for days
-
2 RespuestasOne could say Nightstalker is a ad control class as well. Tether mobs of enemies to generate tons of Orbs for the team and good crowd control with your grenades and smoke

1 RespuestaAHHAHAHAHHHHHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA...LIES

Sunsinger - Nothing
-
Void walker has the most powerful natural Super in the game. Only sun/gunslinger beats it ONLY if they wear nighthawk.
-
3 RespuestasSunsinger actually have amazing DPS potential, especially on bosses. If you spec for fusion grenades, viking funeral, and touch of flame, then couple this with either heart of praxic fire or starfire protocol you'll be doing soo much damage to a boss. Plus your team mates will also be doing extra damage because of viking funeral. Another alternative set up would be solar grenades, viking funeral, touch of flame and sunbreakers. Sunsingers are sooooooo much more than just a self rez
-
I think stormcaller is way better for pve than sunsinger in general. Maybe sunsinger can beat it out in hard raids but stormcaller is incredible for add control. All you have to do to maintain add control is use arc web for your grenades and equip bad juju. Instant crowd control enigma. Then when the super procs, blow everything away with superconductor and transcendence. Seriously, how is stormcaller not your number one? Literally the most effective at mob clearing.
-
9 RespuestasMostly agree, but just one thing. Nightstalker with Vanish in Smoke and Sealed Ahamkara Grasps are, without a doubt, the best medics. I mostly play medic, and Ether Nova with Two for One ensures I always have two smoke grenades available for a quick revive
-
5 RespuestasStriker has the highest DPS grenade in the game, how can it be lower than nova bomb? Flash bangs are also extremely useful in pve, because who needs invis when the enemy is blinded. Juggernaut also works pretty well for rushing for revives, and shoulder charge with peregrine greaves do huge damage (though I wouldn't advise it unless brawler and arc burn are on :3) Having transfusion or aftershocks can be helpful for either large damage or health regen (if shoulder charging)
-
2 RespuestasAs a Warlock main, this isn't really all we can do. Voidwalker can control areas and where ads (or players) go with the AoE grenades/Nova Bomb. Good for camping in PvE, good for Control in PvP. It also is great for ads (as you said). Sunsinger isn't just for self revive. With Tier 4 intelligence and discipline plus the Heart of Praxic Fire, you can not only get your super pretty quickly, but you can also NON STOP THROW GRENADES. It's incredibly amazing in PvP and PvE. Chucking Firebolt grenades everywhere is absolutely astonishing. Stormcaller is pretty much just good for ads though lol (or points in Strike Playlists) Overall this is a generally good post though

1 RespuestaMelting point gives a 50% damage buff and stacks with word. So if you can use melting point its the best for DPS.
-
2 RespuestasI would agree generally speaking although for gunslinger things like the celestial nighthawk(boss dps) and chain of woe/gun slingers trance help to keep them in the fight longer than the other 2 subclasses and depending upon the situation even out dps the other subclasses (with the chain of woe 3x the reload speed of your dps weapons like launchers or snipers would be increased substantially).
-
1 RespuestaDefender can also generate mass orbs with the right skills selected!
-
Sunbreaker can be good on boss due to meting point, be it limited. I've used Sunspots for zone control as well. People underestimate flashbang grenades on Strikers. It helped us through the Death Zamboni and help take out the captains on Aksis.
-
Finally someone appreciates Bladedancers.
-
Titans - Winning Hunters - Crying Warlocks - Being nerfed
-
Sorry but it's way easier to generate 7+ orbs as a striker and is great for both a group of ads (thrall, fallen, etc) but is also good for when a major or more are in close proximity clear the room. Hammer is good but is only good for grenades and solo damage to the boss. Striker is way better in pve and good in pvp
-
I use striker everytime i go into wotm. Flash bang + either a shotgun or foh for those annoying captains
-
5 RespuestasI have to disagree with the Striker stance. I main a striker except in the raids. It pairs really well with a high RoF AR, shotgun, sword. But what you said about it is correct. It is a close range subclass so you have to be used to it.
-
I think Stormcaller beats Sunsinger for PVE. And also, never forget about Melting Point. It's like a shorter Tether that does way more damage boost. Great for Aksis.
