The game seems to think I live in south america...I don't. I live in north america, so why all the brazilian laggers ruining my matches?
English
-
What time of day do you play?
-
It doesn't matter. South america is the same timezones as mine with only a maximum difference of 5 hours. So any time I'm on it's south america in the day and europe during the night.
-
It does matter. Even though its the same relative time zone, different countries and different regions keep different schedules. Play in a remote area of the US...at an odd time of the day...and the may have to resort to pairing you with someone from a more urban area of another country in order to find you someone to play against.
-
I play at all times of the day and I'll tell you again. It doesn't matter there are foreign players in EVERY MATCH. I live in a metro center in north america, there is no reason I would come across south americans at 3 in the afternoon and EU players in the same match.
-
Then you're an outlier in some other way. I live in one of the largest midwestern cities. But as Top 25% player, I'll get matched to people in the Caribbean, South America and Europe if I'm playing during non-peak hours.
-
Top 25%? HAHAHAHAHA yeah I mean I guess I AM an outlier. I'm top1%.
-
Yes. That's your answer. Though apparently you are not "Top 1% " in intelligence,. Because, if you were, I wouldn't have had to waste my time explaining this to you. Good day.

-
Apparently you know about as much about business as you do about statistics. Not much.
-
Yeah I guess not. So tell me, what part of a good business plan is alienating the most dedicated 10% of your clientele? You sound like a buffoon with a hurt ego. You should stop.
-
You want to know what I think really happened. Iron banner was great. I had several 30 plus kill games and alot of 25 plus. I think they made the game more cbmm for about a week then toned it back down. I had very little lag, great games and now it's back to like it was. Laggy and sweaty.
-
No. Iron Banner concentrated the player pool....so you had virtually everyone playing in the same small number of playlists. Now that IB is over...everyone is spread peanut-butter thin once again. I tried playing a regular Control match during IB...and it nearly took the game 5 minutes to make a match for me....which just NEVER happens.
-
Damm 5m is rough. I went in with some friends, full fire team of 6, and it didn't take us but maybe 2m to find people to play against. We also wiped the floor with them and i didnt die that game lol

Editado por Truthiness_Inc: 12/19/2016 3:00:47 AMYeah, pretty awesome knowing that bungie thinks I deserve to be punished for being good at their game. The better you are the laggier and less playable crucible is.
-
Since when is playing a worthy opponent a "punishment"??
-
Worthy=across the world. Ok seems fair.
-
Worthy means what it means in any competitive arena. It means facing an opponent with a skill level similar to yours, and therefore they have a real chance of beating you.... ..and you have a real chance of FAILING in having to play against them. Anything less...and what you're interested in really isn't competition. As I've said many times around here. Everyone loves to win. But few people love to compete.
-
NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT SKILLED PLAYERS. We are talking about LAGGERS. Damn are you serious right now? Do you really think skill matters when someone is lag teleporting around the match? Maybe since your KDs are low you don't now what I 'm talking about?
-
That fact that you're so quick to go there only raises my suspicion that this isn't about lag. Like I said, I frequently get matched with people in those same parts of the world. While hit registration will get hit-or-miss at times, I rarely deal with people teleporting.
-
Ok here's the problem. You're bad at the game and I'm not. So go actually experience sbmm lag and then we can talk on even ground.
-
...and what makes you think I'm going to give a shit how much lag you're experiencing If you're going to be this big of an asshole? Life advice, kid. Unless someone is willing to pay you to play....or pay to watch you play? The world doesn't give a shit how good you are. Or how good you think you are.

I couldn't give less of a damn about you.
Life advice, kid.
HAHAHAHA yeah thanks but I don't need YOUR advice.
The world doesn't give a shit how good you are.
Of course they don't but this is a post about lag and matchmaking isn't it...why did you come into a lag post? Did you come here to tell people lag isn't a problem? Or that your personal sample size of just you is enough to prove they don't have issues with matchmaking? You come in here like some sort of expert and you can barely go positive on any of your 5 characters...lol.

1. I was trying to be helpful. Trust me, I won't be making that mistake with regard to you, again. 2. You clearly do. Though, like most fools...and teenagers, you think you know everything. Or at least everything worth knowing. 3. What I am an EXPERT in, is the science and mathematics involved here...and WHY you are experiencing what you are. A point that would have become evident if you weren't so committed to being an ass, and trying to impress a stranger with how "good" you are at a video game. But hey, since you're so committed to being a jerk....go figure it out for yourself.

Later asshole. Time for me to climb out of the ring with you, clown. Muted.
