At the end of House of Wolves, Skolas,
Kell of Kells, emerged from a Vex Timegate and made a prophecy to Variks after we captured him.
He spoke of a "Dark-binder." And a "Light-snuffer." The Queen was intrigued, and sent a message to Eris Morn and Osiris, summoning them to the Reef to discuss this prophecy.
Shortly after House of Wolves, the Queen remained on her throne, although shaken by the breach of the Prison of Elders.
A meeting was commissioned by her. She, Eris Morn, and Osiris convened at the Reef to discuss the possibility of Oryx's coming.
At this meeting, Eris and Osiris explained Oryx's power and convinced the Queen to defend the system, claiming she had no interest in playing politics. The Queen agreed, and made a plan to destroy Oryx and save the world.
The plan was more detailed than we understand. Initially, the Queen sacrificed her forces to isolate the Dreadnaught and make it easier for us to get aboard - more of a tactical move than a loss.
Her Harbingers couldn't harm the Dreadnaught but gave us enough time to get aboard.
We were then able to kill Oryx and drive him into his throne world, and it is here where we are shown that the Queen planned this all along - Eris says that she was right, and we were the key to defeating Oryx.
The fact that both Eris and the Queen's brother can communicate with the Queen is evidence for her continued existence.
But other than their plan, Osiris seems to have had little to do other than stand around looking cool. Perhaps his knowledge of the Vex network allowed him to verify Skolas' prophecy? We simply don't know, but we may one day have answers.

9 RespuestasEris has systematically had is kill every Hive God.... Crota, oryx and much lesser threats to the throne, the dark blade and Malok. Now, I feel this is the case because she wants that throne for herself.
