I am a parent and an avid gamer so there's no surprise my son would be one, too. It's his first game anything like this so he of course isn't smooth but he's learning and getting better. He obviously doesn't have any friends on his account but I thought it would be really cute to play with other kids perhaps at his skill level or age? Do any other parents game with their kids and so young? Perhaps they could play together?
By the way he's on Xbox one.
Everyone's getting all butthurt over a video game guns... He shoots bb guns. I'm teaching him gun safety early. Barade me for that, too lmfao.

I don't really like playing with squeakers. Some of them are mature and know what they're doing, but chances are they have friends who don't fall under that category. In literally every raid team I've been in with squeakers, there's been at least 1 screaming salt commander. Honestly, I think your child is better off playing Super Mario for now. Xbox Live makes squeakers toxic.

is a 0+ game anyway so yea they are some young dudes around here

7 RespuestasUh. You do know what "T for teen" means. Right?

2 RespuestasMy 5 y/o does and has been playing destiny for two years now, I haven't made him his own account yet tho, he just plays on mine :)
-
4 RespuestasI don't think Destiny is appropriate for a 5 year old. I'd suggest Doom or Dying Light.

9 RespuestasGreat parenting there, top marks 10/10 teach your child from a young age about violence. Smh.

I'm sure there are better games for 5 year olds to play

2 RespuestasI'm a father and my lovely young daughter (15 months) will probably play video games one of these days. I don't believe video games turns kids into delinquents, as long as the parents are there to nurture and educate them, they should be fine. By the way if you're looking for a teammate (I'm looking to play with people), playing with a fellow parent could be nice, cheers (I'm also on Xbox One).

2 RespuestasMy 11 and 12 year old sons play sometimes. I just don't let them party up with people they don't personally know or without screening them first. My daughter is 7 and would probably enjoy jumping around in Destiny. (She loves exploring in Skyrim) Guess I've just never viewed it as an option.

1 RespuestaIf you were a good parent, you wouldn't let your kids play sub-mediocre games. Get them into games that are competitive. That way they can earn money and have fun.
-
1 RespuestaRaise your kids the way you see fit. Parents are responsible for their children not society. Best part of this is it sounds like you use the game to spend time together. Better than the parents that put tvs in front of their kids and ignore them.

2 RespuestasThis game is rated T. I'm a father of a 7 year old, and find the game inappropriate for my child. The player-base alone is enough to justify why a 5-year old should not be playing this game. Candy Crush may be a more suitable option.

Are we talking physical or mental age here? Looking at all the crying there seems to be a lot of five year olds. :)

I let my nephew play and he is 6. Sometimes I have to help him with parts of missions, but he really enjoys it.
