Granted... But even as bad as this year's FotL, I highly doubt Bungie would be that stupid to specifically lock certain armor or weapons behind micro-transactions. Now that doesn't take into consideration any items that can be obtained from the event's 'gift boxes' - but that's a different issue.

Well they were, you can only get one treasure per week via heroic strikes, you can get 3 in total from reaching rank 5 in SRL on all three characters, you can get one for opening Amanda holidays gift after hitting rank 5 in the record book. So in total we will get 6 treasures in the three weeks the dawning is active.. In other words, everything is behind a paywall, again. We should have know. Oh and by the way the dawning armor is a tier 12 set. Nice pay to win by bungo

That I told you to relax and not get your panties twisted up about something that at the time wasn't known. You made an observation that wasn't that far off from what was implemented regarding this event and how much it focused on utilizing micro-transactions. Basically we have another FotL but on a larger scale.

Well I appriciate it, but there's a small detail I missed even though it doesn't make much difference, apparently the Treasures of the dawning will be implemented the same way as radiant treasures, they will be a weekly heroic reward after the dawning leaves apparently

Well in the trailer released it showed exotic engrams and coins dropping from the boxes.... Maybe treasures can drop but idk, I'm just being cautious , I hope I'm wrong, but bungie has proven themselves untrustworthy until otherwise earned.... I'm hoping for the best but I'm expecting the worst

Fully understand. I think FotL showcased how badly Bungie has marketed EU and the fact that it should never have been added to begin with and such just needs to go away. Here's hoping (but I seriously doubt it) that come Destiny 2 - the whole EU and micro-transactions are completely removed from the game.

Radiant Treasures are at Eververse also, but I still have ornaments without paying.
