If call of duty is so bad then why did the sales
Go above like always., the game is pretty much in everyone's living room. And for most people who talked crap about past cod games. Why bother with this one

4 RespuestasI'm one of the idiots who bought it for MW remastered and even that sucks with campers in every game mode. Infinite Warfare though is just god awful, haven't touched either in over a month.

But they didn't go above. The sales for IW are lower than previous CoD's. And half, if not over half, of those sales were from people only wanting the remaster.

It's Call of Duty. Some devs dream of getting what CoD considers "shitty" sales.

Because of the huge number of gamers that almost exclusively play call of duty on an annual basis who don't care or pay attention to critical reception.

CoD back in the day when it was good used to be played generally by adults. Now most who play the new titles are kids who think it is awesome since it is "M" rated and a well known series.

It's just the cool thing to do these days. If there is any sort of booster or exo in the game its automatically trash.

CoD IW sales are terrible, even Activision announced they were way below the expected margin, so idk where you're getting your information but your -blam!-ing wrong. And you have to have some context, CoD has an absolutely massive fan base, even if literally half of the fan base didn't buy the game it would probably still sell better than most games. That doesn't mean it's a good game. Also it got helped out by Activision refusing to release MW remastered as its own game, I know 4 people who bought it just to play MW and have literally never touched IW. If they hadn't bundled the two games together its sales would be even worse than they already are.

Your argument is fallacious. You are propositioning the quality of a game being in direct accordance with the sales. Look at NMS, the Division, and AC Unity. All sold well, all were damn near unplayable at launch or severely lacking in content. Are you suggesting that these 3 games (at launch, not after they were patched and fixed) were good? CoD sells because it is CoD. There is a large group of teenagers that play the games, and will continue to get mommy and daddy to pay for the next year's version. They do not wait for reviews. They always preorder. They always buy the season pass. And they do not have much experience with other franchises. Now stop trying to debate the topic. Everyone can see that IW isn't a good CoD, and it isn't the one the hardcore fans wanted. This topic died months ago. Let it be.
