Came back after a few months, getting killed by shotguns exclusively.
Matadors everywhere, how come Bungie can't get people to use their primaries as primaries?

2 RespuestasWhy? Here's why in a nutshell. Two weeks ago I got into a close range (AR distance) primary gun fight with a Striker Titan. I go the COMPLETE drop on him. So I open upon him...and despite not missing a single shot, this Titan had time enough to: 1. Realize he was taking fire. 2. Locate where it was coming from. 3. Return fire with his own primary weapon. 4. Realize that he had no hope of winning. 5. Hit me with a Fist of Havoc for the win. That's why people---especially good players----spam shotguns and other special weapons Bungie just refuses to allow primary weapons to be powerful enough----and kill quickly enough----to be effective weapons, given how fast Guardians can move. At high levels of play, unless BOTH players commit to a primary gun battle and seeing it through to a conclusion.....most primary gun fights are inconclusive. Eight-tenths of a second is just TOO much time to give a good player to escape or even turn the tables on you. The situation I outlined above was just so ridiculous, I couldn't even get mad. I just had to sit there and laugh at it. Smh....and say, THAT"s why no body fights with primaries in this game if they don't have to. Why lose to someone and allow them time enough to realize their predicament...and hit me with a super. When I can blast them with a shotgun, and they're dead before they even realize I'm there??

Can't use them ..I've been using fusions for a long ass time now I'm going to side arms.

Came back after 2month break and I've been repeatedly killed by everything from auto rifles to all the high rate of fire pulses and of course all the 2-3 shot hand cannons, feels nice instead of being picked from some camping sniper across map but I'm sure there's plenty of shotguns around too. I just feel confused and unsure of what to run, I use a good pulse and get outgunned by auto rifles, I try autos and get slammed by hand cannons and pulses . I can't seem to win a 1on1 unless the enemy was unaware of my presence or was already wounded and of course the just terrible players with broken thumbs .

4 RespuestasHave you ever thought that maybe ppl like close quarters combat? Anyone can camp and shoot primary all game that makes a boring game. But yeah if I'm rushing shotgun is what I'm going to use don't be a baby. Let's not forget when everyone was sniping nobody was using a primary either it's not just shotgunners you know. In conclusion it doesn't matter what ppl use if you want everyone to use a certain gun you just being a dochebag.

21 RespuestasSpecials are supposed to be a powerful situational option. I still honestly believe that they're fine as is (maybe a slight range tweak to certain shotguns in order). The problem is ammo for them is just too easily attainable still. When people can run around the entire game using a shotgun that's not good balance. Everyone constantly complains about nerfing weapons, I say nerf special ammo spawn

6 RespuestasBeen using a fusion rifle. Shotgunners only get me when I make a mental mistake. I know it's hard to admit but at some point if you're constantly getting killed by shotgunners you're not smart enough to adjust and it's your fault. Just assume everyone has a shotgun and don't run around like an idiot. Use Last Word, Trespasser, and/or a Fusion Rifle.

Shotties are not that good anymore because everyone has a good one. Almost every secondary will win an exchange if the player knows how to avoid a shotgun warrior. I get amazed how many use shotguns to beat shotguns lmao. I know you are a good player I remember you. But seriously don't you think it's crazy how many people can beat a shotgun?

It's worse when they are red barring with the matador. Once I was waiting for the spark to charge, then out of the blue I'm killed by a red bar warrior with a matador.

Since shotguns don't get me easy kills like they do for everyone else, I dismantled all of mine and now use Fusion Rifles and Sidearms. They seem pretty decent as long as you stay out of the enemy's reach. Sidearms could be just a bit stronger through...

31 RespuestasYeah, nearly everyone on these forums and on destiny love their 'Map'adors. But then again is it really that surprising? Pretty much everyone has always known the sheep will take the most spineless way to get kills as possible. That's where my Saladin's Vigil comes in. I get to laugh to myself at their pitiful attempts to bum rush me while I blow them away at triple the Matadors range. You should try it

I got killed by a bunch of snipers in IB last night. Including a guy using No Land Beyond, which embarrassingly killed me the most out of anyone on the enemy team.
