As per someones request in another thread, I would like to gather interest to NEVER again see Rift as the Iron Banner game mode. I actually have nothing against the mode, it rewards actual team play more than probably any other game mode. But there in lies the problem. As is often the case, being drawn against a full 6 man team makes life hard in Banner (or crucible in general) but in clash or control a 6 man vs maybe a 2/3 man fire team and some randoms isn't always a forgone conclusion. In Rift... with the benefits that actual communication brings, Rift is suited to a full (or nearly full) fire team more than any other mode. I fire team in crucible and would encourage others to when they can, it does make your experience better but Rift.... no. Even 6 v 6 all randoms, it's a total crap shoot, you coul dget 5 other players that understand how Rift works or 5 other people all content to run around "killing the man" ignorant of this "the runner" whoever he is and whatever it is he does... and the glowing orb thing... whats that all about? Not their fault, play crucible however you want it's your game. But it's a hell of a lot more productive to actually play the game mode... The TLDR : Please, lets NOT have Iron Banner Rift again. The sentiment has been the same every time it's been done, let's learn from that..
