I was playing some casual PvP today. I didn't want to put myself in loads of sweaty situations, just chill and blast some people using either my NLB or Elevating Vision.
I had one player, in a game, send me a lengthy series of voice messages filled with profanity and suggestions of how I should play the game.
I appreciate your opinion that I should "Stop being a filthy scrub and use a f*****g real primary like Clever Dragon" but to be frankly honest... I couldn't give a damn what YOU think I should use. I paid for this game, the same as you. I have every right to use whatever guns/setup I want without some sweaty douche bag, flying around with their Juggernaut/Twilight Garrison/Matador 64 with maxed out range, telling me what I should be running.
I didn't do particularly well, it's just that my play style countered theirs pretty well. I'm pretty hella average at Destiny. I wasn't pulling off any crazy snipes or massive long range kills with my fusion either. I just play the game and I get smack talk from people like this. I know not everyone is like this but it just riles me when the few are like this.
Some people in this community are such bloody elitists. Also, I doubt that you do work for Microsoft and you are going to "get my ass banned" through mass reporting with your friend.
-
1 RespuestaBeen thinking a lot about picking up my NLB and running it. I've never used it but I love to snipe and the salt it incurs is hilarious to me
-
It's because of SBMM, when you get matched up with sweaty opponents you want good teammates and when one of your teammates is just chilling, it feels like the game screwed you. So it's not your fault you get messages like this, trust me, everyone wants to play casual when they need a break SBMM is the problem because there isn't dedicated playlists for competitive as opposed to regular playlists
-
Tell that to Shaxx.
-
I'll use Pulse, Scout, or Auto for primary. Rarely handcannons. I used to fusion, but I've found a new love with sidearms. I can counter most shotgun sliders with the sidearm. So satisfying and hilarious.
-
SHAME THE NON-BELIEVER!
but in all actuality I agree
-
I think you should play with a side arm and auto rifle.

2 Respuestassome people are elitists. More like ALL people are elitists. I cannot go through one thing without someone saying I suck. Example: -Opens post (It was about how cool Ice Breaker was) -Makes a comment (compliment) -Gets a reply -Checks reply -It was an insult because I like Ice Breaker and I'm a complete scrub and that legendaries are better.
-
2 RespuestasYea he's just a scrub, there's no player who legitimately works for Microsoft that would be retarded enough to literally tell a player about it along with a series of hate mail and play style preferences, sounds to me like he's an upset basement God who refuses to use anything except the meta and can't seem to GIT GUD
-
Ahh the hate mail.
got hate using the Universal Remote before it was the "meta"
-
1 RespuestaCouldn't comment on your playing, but your Forum Writing is pretty damn good!👍 The use of Paragraph breaks (even while mad) is starting to become scarce around here. I also like how you capitalized the titles of each weapon and armor.
-
If you want real hate mail run the no land beyond. You can finish a round with 1 kill and get hate mail. I think people get getting killed by that weapon the most
-
I was actually trying to do the wrath of the machine raid with a friend, but the people I found to run it with were super critical of his tenancy to use machine guns. They were let down because he doesn't use swords(cause it's a gun game) or rocket launchers. I mean I get it. There's a way to get through the raid fast as shit, but at the same time, it kills the diversity of the game and all the options you could have. I sided with my friend. Just because the dark drinker is the most effective doesn't mean its literally the only option.
-
When I get hate messages, I reply with either "git gud", "who are you Luke Smith?", or "I completely agree.......fusions need a buff." Then I just t-bag them in the Crucible for being a &%$# and sending me a message to begin with. Then they get blocked of course.
-
Use whatever you want to and what makes you happy. That's how PvP SHOULD be played. ~consume enhance replicate~
-
I love hate mail it lets me know i just made that person angry :)
-
A guy on my team told me to "use your super" literally right as I smashed a storm caller and two of his buds. I was saving it for a good situation like seemingly no other striker does. I just responded with sarcasm. "Really? Wow. I hadn't thought of that. You should really consider being a life coach man, I have a feeling you'd be great at it"
-
You wanna get told how to play? Ok well first ensure the outlets in the location have electricity, a fork is really useful for this. Now plug in your TV, Modem, and gaming console. Next turn on the gaming console and tv. Once both are on connect the console to the mcdonalds WiFi, in-fact it is useful to have everything hooked up inside the Mcdonalds itself to achieve maximum signal strength and lowest time to wait for snacks. After Connecting to the WiFi insert your Destiny Disc or Launch the Digital copy. Once loaded Push the button on your controller that is shown on screen. Now choose a character. Once a character has been chosen load an activity. Upon landing proceed to dance for 5 minutes straight. Profit.
Please note: If instructions are unclear, following them improperly may result in getting your dick caught in something.
2 RespuestasThis is also what happens during the raid. Especially hunters. Everyone asks to put keen eye instead of shade step. And also to use the long tether instead of the 3 arrows. It's frankly annoying on how people tell me what to put on even tho I paid my money to use what I want

Editado por Weslee Snipes30: 12/7/2016 1:51:09 AMYou actually went away from the meta and tried to have fun??? Shame on you.
-
1 RespuestaNo. I paid for this game just like you. I have the right to tell you how to play as much as I want
-
1 RespuestaPvP is nothing to me but PvE on the other hand is another story. Having 2 Warlocks on your team using Stormcaller and Gjallarhorn in the Undying Mind strike with Void Burn is beyond autism.
-
I predict a lot of replies telling you how to play.
-
"Hella average" I'm using this.

Because people know more about you then yourself. Just play CoD for a day.

First off, major kudos to you for using a loadout not typically used by the majority of players. I've used NLB/Doctrine and Elevating Vision together before, and it absolutely destroys people who don't expect you to blast them in the face with a fusion rifle. Second off, while you did pay for the game just the same as other people, you also paid for access to a community in the process. You have every right to use what you want, but in the same token, people have a right to judge and criticize you for your loadout choices. This works on the other end of the spectrum, and I find myself struggling to cope with people who refuse to change their loadouts from anything but a pulse rifle/The Last Word and a shotgun. I'm not saying that he isn't an ass for doing so, because he is. I'm just saying that it's bound to happen in this community eventually.
