How is omnigul alive?
Okay this is bugging me with the new omnigul strike for one less eninmes in the fight (which is good) but the thing I don't get is how omnigul is here last I checked we killed dead dead in the dark below so I don't if she's a accendet wizard or it's another wizard trying to complete what omnigul was originally planing

Sword logic, and the acendant plane/throne worlds. Hive can come back even after a 'true Death' read the books of sorrow grimoire it's all in there

B) multiverse theory. It would also explain why and how sekrion is now taken after being dead for 2 years just about, (even though the only entity that could take - Oryx - is now dead) and how the vex found a way to take the aegis (kabr) out of the vault C) plot hole for new strike variant

If you listen to Cayde and Ikora's commentary during the remastered strike you can actually hear them talking about how she undid her death, which would tell me that she's some sort of ascendant wizard, similar to but not on the same level as a Deathsinger. Cayde even says that we and the hive seem to be made for each other since we too can undo our deaths using our ghosts.

In the remastered phogoth strike, Northbot says something to the effect of "you have to admire the dedication of the hive. They close this door every time. Every. Single. Time." So in the spirit of that, I'd say you have to admire the dedication of the hive. They replace that Omnigul every time. Every. Single. Time. Just saying they have recognized in-game through dialogue that they reuse things.

The way Bungie does this stuff makes it hard for theorizers to make a timeline and figure out what is canon. The really only good way to go about it is just to think of the modified iterations as non canon and as just there for content.
