I must say, the Dawning looks great.
That was a good trailer, I'm just holding out hope there's little to no additional cash involved.
They really get most of their money from YouTubers who spend $100 apiece on cosmetics.
The Dawning looks interesting. I can't wait to see how the strike scoring translates into rewards, and I'm glad to get my hands on Icebreaker, considering I never had it to begin with.
EDIT: Just realized I said gal instead of glad, and no one corrected me.

Yep. I haven't played much lately but I'm gonna login and buy $100 worth of IG currency once the event is live. Then, I probably won't play again until April.

Tbh it's most likely gonna be like last years srl. You can buy sparrow and horn kits but as soon as you get one, it's taken out of the prize pool so ou don't get duplicates. Other than that, the only things you could probably buy would be emotes. I'm sure you'll probably be able to buy extra gifts but since we're getting free ones each day (possibly for each guardian, so 3 a day) until the event ends, I don't really think we're going to be running too short on them...

So did "the lost" events.... last year and this year. The fact that one of the first things we see is a Christmas themed head piece shows it's EXACTLY like the festival of the lost. The ONLY saving grace here is SRL.... you can enjoy it a lot more and get more out of it than we could with the lost festivals.

6 RespuestasThree new strikes (Sure they are remade but who cares) Three new exotics (Yes I understand Ice Breaker isn't new but shut up it may as well be with how long that's taken) Sparrow Racing League Winter Festival Winter Treasures I must say. This beats the April update, except for the infusion fix. That beats it. Tons of people complaining that other games DLCs beat it but I have one word. Update. This isn't a DLC but contains more strikes than house of wolves. And it's a update, not a DLC. You don't have to pay for it. And before you guys complain that "You had to buy Destiny with Rise of iron before you could get it!". So did you guys for other games, are you able to play Far Harbour for fallout if you don't have fallout 4? No. Because that requires the game. Destiny is turning into a game that actually rewards you now, so don't complain to ruin it for everyone else, okay?

Don't get overhyped about it, keep your expectations low. That way if it actually is decent (which I doubt it will be), you will be pleasantly surprised.

I think anytime new content or events are introduced free of charge that's a good thing for everyone. If there's a paywall associated with this event then I'm gonna be less enthused with regards to the event as a whole. As of right now I'm remaining optimistic that Bungie will put player enjoyment ahead of micro transactions. We will all see soon enough.

I saw this post and was looking forward to see all the other people's excitement as I am excited. But riddled through all these posts are horribly negative and cancerous people. I truly feel sorry for Bungie and for those of us who actually enjoy Destiny. I was blown away by all the extra content we will be getting besides just sparrow racing. So on behalf of the "positive" Destiny Community, Thank you Bungie.
