I cant believe I didnt mention anything about the campaign. The campaign is probably the best First Person Shooter campaign that Ive played in a very long time. The character developement is 2nd to none. The attachment and investment in these characters are some of the best in gaming ATM in any first person shooter.
I love Destiny. It was hard to pull me away from this game even when I maxed out all of my toons and did everything that had to be done. The last few weeks I didnt really have many games I liked to play so I found myself only playing Trials on the weekend. I have a backlog of games that I should probably play but havent been able to get into as much as I would like. Titanfall 2 changed that.
The PvP in Titanfall 2 has so much variety. Everything from your basic TDM, FFA, CTF, "Control" and then the best game modes are Bounty Hunter, Attrition and Colleseum. Bounty and Attrition is a TDM 6vs6 with additional NPCs on each team as well. So almost likr a PvPvE. Bounty is the same thing as far as players and npcs go but you get money for kills. You get your standard money for the kill and then take 50% of the other players bank if they havent deposited it yet. Rounds are fluid and after each round the bank opens and you have to try and deposit your money before you get killed so you dont lose some of it.....the most fun Ive had in a while. Colliseum is a 1v1 best of 5 rounds. Think of it as trials but 1v1. You buy a ticket to enter and the winner gets a "loot" chest that unlocks anything from special abilities to cosmetics after they win.
I know its a long post but thats just how good I think this game is. I think a lot of you will enjoy it as well. I'm sure as soon as some more content gets put into Destiny, if any, that I'll be back to the grind but ultimately this game is going to take a lot more time away from that grind.

10 RespuestasIt's one of the best games this year, and I'm still trying to figure out why there's only around 9,000 people playing on PC. The game just came out and it already has an abysmally low population. I guess with CS:GO and the likes, PC don't bother trying other FPS games.

22 RespuestasPlayed the test, hated what they did to it. Forced mech loadouts, resulting in minimal versatility. Still practically zero customization (ooh, color changes...). Forced decision between primary or AT weapon (removal of ability to carry all 3). The changes to calling in mechs (massive increase in time and charge per kill only). That's just the first game impression. I played maybe 3 games and uninstalled. Was hoping for better. If anything changed, let me know. If not, then looks like I will never play it. Patiently awaiting the next Armored Core.

Titanfall 1 was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced from a mech based game (and I've played some shitty ones) I'm currently still playing Hawken, old armored core games and MW3 pirates moon

All the people that complain that it is different from the first game can go play the first game, because sequels are supposed to be different. Honestly, the new mechanics actually make you play smarter.

My internet is too shit to enjoy it, none of my friends play it, i don't like linear campaigns. I think I'll pass but it does look like a fun game.

Got the betas for all three major FPSs this year (CoD, BF1, TF2) and none of them felt worthy of my $60.

I'm currently playing BF1 (and I love it) but I feel like if I jump from a game set in WW1 to a futuristic game with giant mechs that it'd be weird [spoiler]i'm also not a huge fan of futuristic games, it's obvious which franchise ruined that[/spoiler]

Don't get me wrong, ROI was awesome! Best expansion yet, but it's time is done and I decided I'd take a break and try Titanfall 2. Ended up convincing my friends to join in and now it's my favorite game. Love multiplayer, love the campaign. 10/10:)

It appears all the sales have actually spiked the community. I actually saw Attrition have 3.6k in queue last night during non-peak hours.
