I love how people think their individual experience proves they are lying. Climate change?! That's BS! I went outside today and it was snowing.

To even consider lumping climate change with this is a shame. Scientific evidence trumps you walking outside and saying "Hmm it feels nice today."
-
Exactly
-
Lol, yeah, check around, if you think this is the only guy tracking his matchmaking google it. You can argue that if he was the only one but there are metric tons of people now recording their matchmaking states through all manner of different means because of bungies last few posts. And all of them are realizing that bungie is slapping bandaids on a gaping wound and calling it a solution.
-
Yeah but they have proof backing their experience, not going off biased volition. Reread his post and you'll see. I'm left to assume you have nothing but anecdotes to counter?
-
I'm arguing the premise itself. I.E. Bungie is lying because I experience... It doesn't hold up. The OP is 100% based on personal experience.
-
Yes, but his experience has data backing it. His hypothesis actually holds merit here. Unless you can properly retort with your own, you don't really have much to stand on. If it makes a difference, I can back his claims as I've experienced similar matchmaking issues. On my own time, I've checked players regions that I've played against and I've seen plenty of people across multiple continents far reaching the 2000+ miles range where connections are extremely incompatible. If you take a look at trending, you can find similar claims. There's much more evidence against you at the moment. Unless you have data that says otherwise that doesn't rely on anecdote, you can't say much either.
-
So disregard almost every player who's been playing with SBMM for a year because "They're not professional programmers"?

You wrote this
I love how people think their individual experience proves they are lying. Climate change?! That's BS! I went outside today and it was snowing.
I replied Dunno what's hard to comprehend
-
I never said anything about programmers. You literally put it in quotes. It was a radically wild leap and very removed from what I was pointing out.
-
No, it was on par, you assumed since people don't work on the game what they say counts for little
-
What he essentially was saying was that, until someone gets ahold of the Destiny netcode(something that will most likely will never happen), anything anyone other than a Bungie dev says about the netcode is speculation at best. You took what he said way out of context. Judging from everyone's experiences, people's suspicions about Destiny's netcode are likely. Not true, not correct, just likely to be true and likely to be correct.

30,000 data points is pretty conclusive.
-
How did you collect those?
-
Been gathering data since December. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Oh my god. So each time you played is a unique data point? I'm done.
-
No. each player I connect to is a data point. Complete with k/d, location, and ping.
-
Awesome. Well done. Thanks for making my point for me.
-
Yes. While I admit the data is all my own, it has a clear point to it. And when you compare it to the rest of the community's comments, it's safe to say my data is not an outlier. Also, it wouldn't make sense for my data to be an outlier since we all use the same matchmaking engine.
-
Most people are happy with Matchmaking, hate to break it to you. That's why it's not changing. The small amount of angry people on the forums ARE the outliers. Trust me.
-
Actually, it trends on Twitter. It trends here. MANY MANY MANY people are unhappy with the matchmaking.
-
People don't post about something that works well for them. I understand it frustrates a small percentage of you a whole lot, and that should get some attention. But implying it's broken for the majority of people is silly and wring. Oh and fukk twitter.

Editado por Aristeia: 11/18/2016 3:39:25 PMWell not every destiny player is on twitter. Also twitter's trending topics are geared towards your interests

You're being purposefully obtuse. I'm done with you. It's a troll tactic.
