When do you normally receive the error? What action normally leads to it or what activities does it remove you from? The more information you give, the better, as it'll help others try to help you figure out what's going on.

Could be in the middle of a strike or just starting to patrol. I got it several times during the weekly siva strike. Idk any specifics that may help. My bar was red then it turned green. I thought it'd be good to go and it still booted me from my next patrol on the cosmodrome.

  • Having problems Intermittently like that is normally caused by hiccups in your connection within your home. It can be between you and your modem/router. If you're on wireless, check for other people either using your wireless connection at the time or doing something in your household/location that may interfere with wireless, like using a microwave near your router, etc. If you've got a wire connecting you to your router/modem, then the issue is more likely to be a connection issue outside of your home between you and the bungie's authentication and character storage servers. Sometimes, the smallest hiccup in that connection is enough to cause a disconnect from it. You should check your wire, though, to make sure there's not some issue in your physical connection that might be causing issues. If you've followed the networking troubleshooting help articles, your best option would be to use one of the many internet tests to check for packet loss and the like. Fast internet doesn't exactly mean good internet. Good luck!
