I don't have either of these games, but I'm sitting here looking at XB1's most played games and it appears that Infinite Warfare is in the #1 spot and user rated about 2 stars, while BF1 is sitting at #2 and rated 5 stars. Kind of confusing, but okay.
Here's the rest of the top ten.:
#3 BO3
#4 NBA2K17
#5 GTA 5
#6 CoD MW Remaster
#7 Skyrim
#8 GoW4
#9 Destiny
#10 Minecraft
Other games that interest me:
#12 Overwatch
#21 Halo 5
#22 Titanfall 2
#34 Halo MCC

It's stars are so low because there are people would will dislike it simply because it has COD in the title while there are others who play the game and can form their own opinion and don't care about other people's opinion.
-
I feel bad for Titanfall only being at #22.

8 RespuestasBecause cod sells on the name alone. Kids and hardcore cod players love it and play it even when it's not something great. I honestly feel like battlefield is too hard for average cod players who aren't used to playing on a map 5 times bigger than the average cod map and not being able to 360 no scope people. Titanfall also has a learning curve and is more balanced. Kids and so so players always veer towards easier to play or easier to cheese/win games. It's why 90% of populations of previous cod games now are just hardcore cheaters.

I have both but not played the new cod just been playing snd on 4. I nipped on battlefield last night and again the team was terrible and the other team wad either sniping or running subs i wanted bf1 to be different but its just not

7 RespuestasEditado por Spyglass: 11/10/2016 5:01:45 AMThat's sad, honestly. Titanfall 2 is a better game in every aspect--if only EA didn't screw them over with the release date. And honestly, how can people continue to play CoD? I mean, Activision basically screws you over for every penny.
-
IW in front of H5, Overwatch, Skyrim, and TitanFall 2, and yet it's 2 stars? And why is BO3 still up there considering that its year-long cycle is basically over? The Xbox community is sometimes a laughable base full of irony and hypocrisy.
-
Yea I noticed that too like... what the hell lol
-
Its because people are willfully blind. We know its popular but try to justify it.

1 RespuestaHalo 5 is higher that titanfall..? :(
-
Any idea what the populations are?
-
4 RespuestasBattlefield 1 is much better than IW. It's a shame Titanfall 2 is so low as that's the next best shooter behind battlefield 1
-
1 RespuestaBecause the majority of people are complete sheep that will eat shit so long as the guy next to them is doing the same. The same exact reason why Activision will live forever.

3 RespuestasHow is nba2k17 number 4

Infinite warfare actually took a step in the right direction for me. Plus most of the bashing has been done by destiny rejects who don't like fast paced games.

1 RespuestaSurprised NBA game is #4

6 RespuestasShort answer: People are sheep. Always have been, always will be. Long answer: A lot of people really like CoD. But they visit these forums and other communities on the internet where CoD bashing has been in full effect for years. These people can't stand the thought of being an outsider. They have an inherent need to be accepted in to the herd. So they pretend to hate it. The pretend so hard, that they even convince themselves. Then they convince other people to hate it too. And the cycle continues. However, they can't help but play it. They probably find some convoluted way to rationalize it. Maybe they'll say they're only playing for the achievements. Or they just don't have anything else to play right now. Whatever it is. They lie to themselves. They've lied to themselves so hard, they'll actually rate the game zero stars while spending 90%+ of their gaming time invested in it. Because they love it. At this point, they probably even love to hate it. Bashing the game gives them a sense of euphoria from acceptance by their peers, whether real or imagined. It's just the way society works. Nothing will ever change it.

1 RespuestaCoD is rated two stars because tons of tools who call it a game for kids rate it at one star with no intention of playing it. Those CoD kids don't constantly trash BF1 and flood its ratings with one stars left and right.
-
I'm actually shocked that Titanfall 2 is as low as it is. Most people here on the forums have been talking that game up for a while now. In regards to CoD IW I didn't expect it to be the top game but after thinking about it for a few minutes it makes sense. There are people who enjoy CoD and will buy it every year. There are also people who bought the game for CoD MW but elected to try out CoD IW and there are people who enjoy the zombies mode found in CoD games. So while not everyone playing the game loves all of it there is a part of the game that they enjoy playing.

Don't even waste your time w halo 5. It's whack.

2 RespuestasInfinite Warfare has one of the best campaigns I've played in a long time.

5 RespuestasWow, I thought Microsoft stop publishing Xbox Live activity after Halo 4 dropped out of the top five. There is so much to digest! Don't be surprised to see CoD:IW in the no. 1 spot and CoD:BlOpsIII in the no. 3 spot. CoD's strength is in it's numbers. Gears of War 4 had a soft showing. Maybe Gears of War Judgement did some serious damage. Maybe it's just the glut of shooters and the difficulty of promoting a console exclusive against the larger wave of advertising for mulit-platform games like CoD and Battlefield. The further degradation of Halo 5 is surprising. I mean, Halo 4 was a disaster for the multi-player population, but jeez, even it stated in the top 10. The Titanfall 2 population is just awful. The lack of population is the reason I didn't buy the game. Overwatch looks like it still has legs but could be doing better. Maybe that's why there's another free weekend coming.
-
Almost everyone I know rated IW down because you need it to play MW. It's a spiteful rating more than an accurate game rating.
-
Strange. Last night I checked it and Battlefield 1 was #1, followed by fifa 17 and mw remastered.
-
It's not really a surprise. CoD, even with all the people (myself included) not buying the game this year, still has an enormous player base. It has taken a serious popularity hit but it'll still be a top contender for some time. As for the ratings that's just people putting in their opinion of the game in its current state. They may rate it 2 stars but will still play it
