I don't mean dead like no one plays it, I mean that the new content is old and boring again. Thoughts?

1 RespuestaI'd say once you hit 400 then yeah it's dead
-
Yes, very. Very dead. haven't played in a week. It got boring
-
Absolutely, people are still playing a grindy RNG based game, which equates to failure to thrive, you then have the cherry on top with a dumb ass pvp side that is unbalanced, laggy, and simply broke.
-
18 RespuestasYes it is whoo hoooo, i just hope the microtransaction events fail to meet their profit targets too.
-
1 RespuestaYa because they won't fix their shit servers. A huge part of the community is experiencing pvp latency issues and they are rewarding shitty service players. Everyone who hates this switching to other games just to have a smooth pvp experience. I'm about to join them and only play pve.

8 RespuestasDepends on whether you paced yourself or not. I have three characters...and my HIGHEST level character is 384. I haven't completed the raid on either mode yet....and I still have lots to do in the book. I'm a daily player....but only play about 2 hours a day. So there is still LOTS for me left to do. Now if you're been grinding several hours a day...then you are probably running out of things to do at the moment.

I feel like a lot of the non-ToO streamers - and even some of the ToO streamers - are playing it a lot less. And I mean, if they, who rely on the incomes from their streams, are willing to switch to other games, which can be risky, there's an issue. I've also heard a lot more complaints regarding foremost longetivity and Bungie being behind on tweaks post-ROI than I did in the past. Now, I obviously don't have the population stats but I see way more "there's nothing to do" posts/threads on this site than ever did this short into a DLC cycle in the past and my friendlist is pretty much emtpied on Destiny players. With IB - and loot raining down - I think it'll only get worse. A big chunk of the community is going to ding 400 on one or even all characters this week and move on to something els.

The problem it lost interest fast when they made it to easy to get light level 400 you don't need to do hard raid or trials of Osiris to get max light.
-
1 RespuestaDestiny died at least 20 times according to the forum.
-
[Destiny] died. [Destiny] self-resurrected! [Destiny] taunts [MATT IS MLG PRO]
-
Are you still having fun? If yes GOTO not_dead else GOTO dead_for_you_personally

3 RespuestasDestiny has been bobbing and weaving for 2+ years. It finally got knocked the -blam!- out. Picked up Battlefield. Haven't played destiny since.
-
ROI was supposed to last tlll Christmas with the SRL coming. It was never meant to sustain the game for 6 plus month when people were pounding out max light in first week and a half.

Editado por D34N0000: 11/8/2016 6:06:13 PMOh yeah for sure, for me anyway. I've done one raid in the last two weeks. It was only for challenge mode and I didn't even want to finish the raid after we did the challange . Just didn't want to bail on my friends. Not even sure I'll bother with todays though, I'd rather get new set pieces in eso. I really hope they make big changes for destiny 2 because every dlc has held my attention for less and less time to the point I wish I didn't even bother with RoI. I think think it's to do with the fact on my "off time" from destiny I play other mmorpg style games these days. Then I play Destiny and it's obviously a shooter first, but dam is the loot side of destiny is shallow.

1 Respuestawell, they didnt rly add much to begin with. dlc could have just been priced at 20 bucks like crota or how. kinda sad they didnt add many new exotics or quests. instead they put in the scraped ttk exotics.
-
3 RespuestasWell, you see, when new games come out, people tend to move on from older games for a little while. Just so happens that there's a rush of new games right now. Not really indicative that a game is "dead". This happens everywhere. If you REALLY want to see examples of games properly dying, look up the fate of games like Brink or Tabula Rasa.
-
1 Respuestaseems less are playing the last week or two, hard to find anyone to raid with let alone actually find competent enough people to get it done.
-
Actually it's repetitive after the story line.... So after that Ya!! It can be ..... Only thing to work for after that is light level 400 and the promise of future content being better then the last...... For ten years.....

3 RespuestasEditado por DaveTheCave17: 11/8/2016 1:32:07 PMBungie doesn't make enough content for people who play even 6+ hours per day. RNG is how they keep guardians coming back, hoping for that one shader or weapon. Anyone who puts a huge portion into their day is going to be bored after one month of new content, but bungie has to please everyone, even those who play on weekends only. If you ask me, Destiny is not dead, but I haven't even done the raid. [spoiler]If you are bored, try to have fun custom matches and things with your friends. Or complete your Record Books.[/spoiler]

2 RespuestasBought Titanfall 2. Have t really looked back to destiny. If my whole squad decides to raid or something sure I'll raid. But for the most part I am max light, have experienced everything, gotten all the sweet loot I wanted, and more. Don't get me wrong, destiny is my baby. But there is always a point in time where I set it down for a nice long break. The drought has come much sooner than I thought, and that's OK. Now I can go play the crap out if Titanfall 2 and really enjoy myself. I'll be back for some srl, but nothing to keep me here glued to destiny. Also, destiny 2 isn't really all that far away at this point. Less than a year will fly by.

1 RespuestaEditado por ASMITH593: 11/8/2016 3:17:37 PMAlmost a year until Destiny 2... (Could be longer. Who knows) Yeah, it's not going to last for me. I hope they learned from their mistakes in this game.
-
It is the live team can't make fulfilling content and d2 will be just as stale
-
4 RespuestasI am very pleased with my decision not to purchase RoI.
-
I just wanna beat the damn raid lol, I know what to do in all encounters it's just finding a competent team. After that maybe try the hard mode a few times then just play monthly Iron Banner. I don't need to be max light.
-
4 RespuestasWhat they should have done was make the light level cap much higher (like 500) And released challenge mode later to get higher light loot. On top of which, enabling older raids to drop higher level armor. Just armor, since the weapons made people cry. If siva'd out old raid gear.
