Okay, let's rant about Recruitment

So one day I was looking through my Rise of Iron Record Book, to see what I needed to do to make it to that final emblem. One of the things that stood out the most was the incentive to play Trials. I audibly sighed after seeing this. Now, look - I'm fine with crucible, I'd even say that I'm pretty good at it sometimes. But I don't play it regularly, or for fun. I am, most of the time, a PVE player, which you can see by my stats saying that I've spent my most time in Patrol. Look at my K/D. Yeah. Not high, is it? 0.55. Pretty bad. But honestly, I don't care. I'm not Kjhovey or Datto, someone who needs to uphold a reputation. At least, I didn't care until I looked at the ToO recruitment forums for the first time. It was jam packed with K/D requirements more than double mine! And this is my point: Trials is not accessible to new players. I have no hope of being flawless unless I get picked by a streamer or something. Now you could say that I've had years to complete trials, and that's true - but it's never been an ingame requirement until now! I want to experience trials, I want the loot, but my skills apparently aren't good enough, a flaw in this game that comes into play for no other part of Destiny. (And yes I am expecting 'Get gud' replies)
