Its like they punish you for doing too good!! Im no pvp god but sometimes i get a good streak going and i always dread the end. Im like "welp, i won the last few games and placed at the top, 90% chance this next game is gonna be a full fireteam from one clan that all have flawless ToO emblems and will likely make me hate myself"
