I think EVERYTHING is too strong. I'd like to see base optimal TTKs of like 1.2 seconds. Maybe see some real primary strafe battles and team shots. This whole, "I saw you first, so you're dead" game style is kind of lame. We would, of course, require a massive reduction to shotty range for this though.

    No, but nice argument bruh. It goes without saying that sniping would have to be made harder in the traditional sense and shotguns would have to in no way be as viable at medium range as they currently are etc. Easy mode shooters are a staple right now and it is killing console competitive gaming. There's a very obvious reason why the downtrend occurred after Halo 3.

  • Not really an argument but ok. So you want every battle to be extremely slow and then shotguns and fusions and sniper would be even more dominant cause a primary can't kill them before they are right in your face, like nice balancing idea bud

    Slowing down gameplay doesn't always have the effect you think, bud. Again, think about why Halo 2-3 were a major draw and how people just judge how damn-near boring Destiny is to watch. It's okay, I'm not going to take your shotty or whatever away. I'm just stating an idea that I think would increase the ever-so-nonexistent high level skill gap. Destiny is less pro than Halo 4 in it's current state, but it's ok, because we get chromas and it feels good to down a "high level" player before they can react to a high ROF pulse rifle. Get the first two shots off on a high level H2-3 player and the result would often be looking at your respawn screen in awe.

  • Halo is a completely different game from destiny regarding pvp so there is not reason to compare it to halo if you think destinys pvp is terrible then go play halo, next of its not fun to have very high time to kills it would make the game campy and not as fun and then balancing issues would be awful like tell me how are you going to lower the ttk on handcannons, slower fire rate is it just gonna be slower fire rate for everything or less damage and right now, everyone is sick of the high time to kill compared to how it was in year 1

  • Current Halo PVP is terrible too. Consoles are now a joke thanks to developers catering to the majority skill level. Destiny is easy, Its PVP is easy, going flawless is easy, sniping is easy, shotgunning is easy, pulse rifle cross-maps are easy, killing in general is easy. You know what this adds up to? A BORING esport. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this sort of thing. Nothing anyone ever does in Destiny PVP will ever look impressive to anyone who's ever known the golden age of console competitive shooters. Let your game and your controller die if you want, I'm just asserting my weathered point of view.
