Hello,
Could the drop rate for these items get an increase (or a questline).
Considering how these are stuck in year one content, and it is increasingly difficult to get
a raid team for these, it is frustratingly hard to obtain these.
I understand that my fellow year one guardians had to grind for these in the past, and some might
view it as 'cheapening' the accomplishment, but it would be nice to finally obtain these year one weapons.
Edit: I started Destiny about a day or two after it launched. My mates all gave up after a few days,
and as such endgame content was pretty much off-limits as the grind to raid level was insane, and lfg was full of 'must be max light with maxed ballerhorn.'
Maybe a better solution would be to add Mythoclast and Necrochasm to the legacy engram loot table.
Just like how the quest exotics from year one, and the year one versions of Prison of elders exotics.
That way collectors can get their kiosk filled.
In regards to the feeling that people 'earned' them in year one, people also 'earned' the quest exotics in year one (Juju, thorn, SGA etc), but they are all available through Xur Engrams now, so I don't really see any way people could complain that a year one weapon should be 'earned' as all but two are available through engrams now.

It shouldn't be that easy, Necrocasm/vex was way harder than a bounty. But make it easier I agree
-
I got my crux a couple of days ago
-
Are you on ps4? I need get the crux too.

2 RespuestasVery, and I mean very, easy to solo Crota. I'm about to solo Croat tonight, (I'm about to do the Year 3 Thorn Quest, and I need Word of Crota back in my life already) and I'm a hunter. 376 light compared to like a 220 light (idk how much tbh) boss. Cake!

16 RespuestasThose that DID get the crux or mythoclast wouldn't have the right to complain that it cheapened the accomplishment, as while nearly everyone that has one put effort into it, the only deciding factor was the pure RNG when the boss fell. I get that people work hard for these, but there's basically no skill involved in getting them, it's just luck. If skill or dedication was the deciding factor I'd be okay with it, but no. No matter how skilled or determined you are, there's a good chance that these items will simply never drop for you, simply because the game decides to hold out on you just a little longer. People will think that they have bragging rights for getting these items, but they really don't. They lucked out ONE time. The drop rate for both items SHOULD be increased, or at the very least have the potential to increase based on past achievements within each respective raid (e.g. how much raid-exclusive gear is in your inventory, how much of it is equipped, how many times you've beaten the raid without getting it, etc.). If we actually get our way and the drop rate is increased, any complaints from the people that did get it through lucking out will be completely null and void, because while they may have put effort into it (god knows I have) they only ended up actually getting it because the game spontaneously decided they should.

Seems kinda pointless unless they bring old raids up to current light levels.
-
3 RespuestasNo. Just not. Crota end can be solo VOG can be done 2 man with warlocks.
-
2 RespuestasI didnt get a husk of the pit. But i have the crux for it :/
-
Atheon tripped and fell off a cliff when I got my first Vex. The clumsy fool. RNG is broken: I got quite a few Vex's but one of my team mates didn't get his first until well into year 2. I joined a team about half way through their Crota battle. I spawned in dead, spectated on the sword guy as he sliced up Crota and got the Crux.
-
Just so you know, neither one of these items ever had a decent drop rate. RNG, however, always made sure that that new guy you were carrying through his first raid got one. Every. -blam!-ing. Time!
-
2 RespuestasBack in year one, I joined a group at atheon and I was way under the suggested light level. I died the second I got in, watched them beat it, and the vex dropped the first time I beat the raid on hard
-
4 RespuestasI totally agree I've run ceota over 15 times I think and still haven't gotten it it's soo frustrating!!

5 RespuestasEditado por D0CT0RJK: 10/25/2016 11:02:17 AMvex drops much more often than crux. I got vex within about 4 or 5 runs of VoG. 30 or more Crota runs - no crux for me (having Ally, glowhoo and crota's end emblem all equiped). vex also dropped for team mates during those runs. in 30+ crota runs I have seen Crux drop twice across all fireteam members. Agree though - they should up the drop rate for crux at least.
-
I'll join if you need people :)
-
Bungie has increased the drop rate for crux but I never got it. I would suggest not to waste time on farming crota for the crux because Bungie seems not to listen.
-
-
I would upvote this At this point it is collectors stuff Think how hard it will be to get touch of malice a year from now as TTK raid sucked to run
-
Crota is easily soloable
-
I've personally declared the Crux to be impossible to drop. I've had it drop on my 2nd HM run on my alt acc - 2yrs and I've never had it drop on my main
-
4 RespuestasCrota's End can be completed with 2 people. VoG can be completed with 4. You can also solo all of Crota's End if you really wanted to, but even with 2 people you're gonna be glitching the hell outta that raid. If you were on PS4 I'd say add me, we usually do a Raid triathlon on the weekends. Wrath of the Machine, Crota's End, Vault of Glass in one sitting non-stop.
-
you can solo Crota on hard easy, and vault of glass is a cake walk stop whining start grinding bungie doesn't care
-
I'm game to help someone get either of these
-
2 RespuestasJust soloed Crota last week and got my 4th Crux. It can't be that hard to get.
-
3 years still no vex played on old gen for 2 got nothing 3 months in to new gen still nothing but i got some nice looking armour and a fate bringer
-
Never got either one of those. Gave everything else, except some of the new ones.

Crota HM is basically a legacy strike at this point. It's easy.
