I would love to see all the average players stop playing Trials. Then the so-called elites will finally only play against others of the same skill.
Then the whining would ensue. "Why is it so hard to go flawless? Why are these guys so good? It's not fair these guys are at the same skill level as me. Why can't I pub-stomp anymore? Bungo nerf Trails"
They are just as guilty of not wanting a challenge as the rest of the average players who want to go flawless easily. Every time there's a post suggesting changes to Trials, the elites come out in droves, saying it should be hard for everyone but them. They hardly want a challenge.

I am average and i went . I was not carried either. I have 2 friends and we played our butts off. Worked on strategy, callouts and communication and we made it. Now it was not easy by far. We just happened to catch a good streak. The thing is this community wants everything handed to them, everything easy.
-
You have nothing in trials of Osiris just checked your stats no recent games or anything so you went flawless probably year 1 which was easy
-
Editado por SINECURE53: 10/24/2016 2:03:36 PMYeah i went year 1 which for me was not easy. I used to delete toons, i used to have all warlocks, then all hunters, i hsd all titans for a long time, then i started to work on every class. I have my warlock left. Still not done with sunsinger and void walker. Year 1 trials emblem on hunter just for proof.

Or they could just make a ranking system for it.

Why does everyone assume that really good players would struggle when facing other very good players ? I bet it would not be a Problem. The Problem is not an equal Challenge (which they would have), but getting Hit bs a train and not knowing what went wrong. They would know. They would become even Better. And they do not play because of the lighthouse but because of the Challenge. Bzw, i never went flawless, and I never cry. Try and try again. Get better or stop doing it.
-
Well both teams cant win can they lol.
-
Trust me you'd see some crying
-
Editado por SquidGuy: 10/24/2016 12:09:46 PMI consider myself slightly above average, and I disagree. I love going against better teams. It makes me a better player.
-
Wrong. I'm at 1964 ELO and I enjoy playing players rated equally or higher than me. We played Exiled Kranos which was roughly the same ELO as me and we won 5-0. We also play xMitty and TwitchTV(there's an addition to his name I can't remember) both top 500 players and we won 5-3. I enjoy playing those games because it makes me better as a player. Don't sit here and act like you know what the elitist think about trials. Speaking of going flawless, went flawless on all three characters by Saturday night and still continues to play Sunday just to piss off the average players that bitch all the time about how hard it is to go flawless.
-
And this is why if you complete your trials card you should be put into another pool of trials teams. Better for the community to seperate the winners from those still trying to get to the lighthouse. Also you shouldnt be able to disassemble a card till its completed. These 2 things will stop so much carrying, although the law of unforseen consequences tells me this would probably not be the case. Nice trolling btw
-
I'm not trolling, everything I said was true. Now to argue with your point of making a separate pool for flawlesses. I'll just leave this link here and I win the argument. https://twitter.com/_mantis_/status/787114500960821248
-
I don't mean your post was trolling, I mean playing just to deny other entry to the lighthouse. But whatever floats your boat I guess.
-
Oh lol, yeah, I'm also trying to raise my ELO so I can be rated higher than my asshole elitist friend so I can shove it in his face.
-
Editado por NYDIBS: 10/24/2016 11:00:19 AMYeah but if you had all your trials games be like that you wouldn't like it Sure, once in a while it's fine

Editado por bFLY: 10/25/2016 12:15:41 AMexactly, the "elites" are afraid to play people who can actually beat them. They would rather face scrubs and keep their kd looking nice.

We hate sbmm because it puts us with laggy people

Editado por bFLY: 10/25/2016 12:12:06 AMMatchmaking in general puts you with laggy people, it's not just sbmm.

Editado por SquidGuy: 10/24/2016 9:52:37 AMThey hate sbmm because it doesn't prioritize connection, you turkey.
-
Of course that's the reason.
-
You're so wrong lol. Elite players want SBMM in the most competitive Playlists like Trials. However, good connections is also a requirement for equal grounds. Stop being so ignorant.

im an average pvp player. my stats are constantly thrown in face, to the point I never tried trials because i felt i would be fodder. THEN i tried it out. had a couple groups come and go, used lfg and eventually found some people willing to play with me. I didnt communicate well, my movement was off, but my skill was par. They constantly berated me "you dont even have enough trials games to have an ELO, so we are gonna drop you. You know how it is." and other dumb reasons to kick me got me down. discouraged i made a post about 2 weeks ago to help find some, and im qouting myself here, "hyper casual trials team". Once i got a group more focused on having fun(for the record book) then winning, i was starting to relax and see what i was doing wrong. Instead of blaming me for a loss i would get advice "push up so they cant rez" or"fall back so you can bait and rez snipe". I am learning that every loss, every death is a chance to get better. I am not elite, im the same garbage player as the next guy. What is different is that my "skill" is more then a number, its experience from day 1. I dont make new characters to lower or raise my stats, i dont throw other peoples ELO into if they are good or not. I play with them. No smack talk, just advice. This week, almost a month and a half into my journey of trials , i went to the lighthouse. for the second time. It is hard, it is supposed to be. Thats why this week i spent a good 3-4 minutes dancing with some randos on mercury. I was celebrating becoming a better player.
never give up, never give in, never surrender. struggle or die.
In three short paragraphs you just shut down every single ignorant PvP player. I applaud you.
