You don't have to play the game long to figure it out.
The grind for each class rank is slow, the ranking system offers nothing meaningful as a reward.
Nearly all the weapons are simply reskin jobs of one another, there is no attachment variety for any of the guns except your generic bayonet. There are no weapon levels, there are no competitive game modes, only casual ones. There is one unique gun for each class (four total) which requires nearly 25-30hours of gameplay time to acquire, and after that you can't customize it(no attachments added)
You are forced to either run&gun, or snipe, you cannot choose any other way to play due to the limitations and lack of options for gadgets/attachments. One of the shallowest games I've seen to date, even COD has more depth than this, and that franchise hasn't developed anything worthwhile in years.
They use battlepacks as a means to combat this, but it's really just a ploy to get more hooked on with a gimmick gambling mini-game.
Honestly though, EA/DICE, please get your heads out of wherever it is and screw it back ontop of your shoulders, it's not all about a big payday guys, give us something worthwhile for a change. Consumers, stop accepting shoddy developing and calling it masterpieces, it's a disgrace to you, and to anyone listening.
I honestly didn't think it could get worse after BF4/Hardline, but, EA/DICE have found a way.

1 RespuestaI can fly an airplane. My friend can sit next to me while I fly the airplane. I buy the game.

4 RespuestasI've read too much about WW1 to be able to play it. I wish they would just go back to modern times. Like BF3.
-
That's why I have no interest in Battlefield 1. One of the best things about Battlefield 4 is the incredible variety in weaponry, attachments, equipment and upgrades for you to unlock. Due to the limitations of World War technology, all of that amazing variety is gone.
-
1 RespuestaIt felt like a reskin battlefront
-
Don't deny it, BF1 is an amazing game
-
3 RespuestasEverything you said aside from BF4 (i think it's a great game) isn't inaccurate at all. Would've preferred Bad Company 3 myself.
-
This guy, I think maybe you should just give gaming in general since all you seem to do is complain about them. Even with your name change

6 RespuestasEditado por Bittersteel: 10/22/2016 7:05:37 AMFrom reading this and your responses it seems like you wouldn't be happy regardless of what the game was like, you also come off as somewhat of a troll considering anyone with a different opinion to you is shutdown with childish insults and a "you are wrong because I said so" attitude. Your application for a forum mute has been granted.

I was really hoping for a BF5

2 RespuestasI respect your opinion. For me, I got rank 10 with my sniper in about 12 hours. Ranking gives you war bonds, which you can get more weapons. I could go on...
-
Battlefield was never really a competitive game. It's more of a game to have fun in.
-
2 RespuestasAren't all the battlefields tbh? I'm kind of ignorant cause I play COD and other games but when I have played battlefield it seems like there's nothing but the gameplay( which is amazing btw)
-
2 Respuestasyou triggered the EA fanboys god have mercy on your soul.
-
Mortars on objectives are amazing
ly broken
1 RespuestaIn exactly what way does Cod have more depth? Your main point for disliking Battlefield is because you limit yourself to infantry combat, which is all Cod offers.
-
3 RespuestasYou know games aren't about getting loot and getting better, it's about fun. You are the shallow one dear sir/madam
-
Amazing game.
-
To sum up, "Why don't I have all the best equipment on day 1 of the games release, now time to write an edgy shitpost"
-
It's got enough content for me, but I guess not for you.

9 Respuestas
The grind for each class rank is slow, the ranking system offers nothing meaningful as a reward.
you unlock your weapons. Nothing more meaningful than that in the game.
Nearly all the weapons are simply reskin jobs of one another,
This is how it's always been, in every battlefield game. Nothing new here.
there is no attachment variety for any of the guns except your generic bayonet.
as expected from a WWI game. Honestly i dont mind, most attachments were pretty worthless before, if not just redundant.
There are no weapon levels, there are no competitive game modes, only casual ones. There is one unique gun for each class (four total) which requires nearly 25-30hours of gameplay time to acquire, and after that you can't customize it(no attachments added)
sounds great to me. Less pointless grinding. As for the game modes, I'm not sure what you mean by this. Deathmatch, domination, rush and conquest are all there already, and battlefield has always been a rather casual experience. If you mean the hardcore game modes, they will be added later, just like always.
You are forced to either run&gun, or snipe, you cannot choose any other way to play due to the limitations and lack of options for gadgets/attachments
. Again, nothing new here. That has always been the only 2 options, aside from getting in a vehicle. Attachments never made that huge a difference to offer different methods of playing.
They use battlepacks as a means to combat this, but it's really just a ploy to get more hooked on with a gimmick gambling mini-game.
again, nothing new here. Be glad it's only cosmetics. Honestly I can't relate to where you're coming from. I like that they simplified things, removed the fluff, and overall how they still managed to keep to the core of battlefield.

10 Respuestas>lack of variety between weapons >lack of attachments Oh boy, don't you sound stupid. It's WW1, and it was meant to be somewhat historically accurate.

Here we go again.

7 RespuestasThey gave us exactly what was promised. A WWI themed Battlefield game. New weapons, vehicles, maps, gamemodes, classes, campaign, and more. I find it ammusing that people think that BF1 could have as many weapons and gadgets as BF4. Two different time periods, one is more advances, thus enables more weaponry. The gameplay is fun and balanced. Don't know what else is missing.

1 RespuestaLmao. Why rant on a site where neither EA or dice will check.
battlelog.com
Enjoy your ban if you do rant on that site.

1 RespuestaCan I still enjoy it?

1 RespuestaIt's just battlefront with turks and germans. Snooze
