So I grinded to get to that level for nothing? Bungie sucks

You realize you've grinded to higher levels multiple times already & it was all for nothing, right? It's a video game.

Yes shoulda just ran it once for the grim and op then just waited for the challenge modes

Well you didn't. The MAX light that gear can drop is being raised yes. But they will still drop in accordance to your own light level. So by being 385 already you will get drops upwards of that. If you were say 365 now, your drops would be around 366-370 ish light level.

It won't change much. If you're 385 with raid experience you'll be more fit for the hard raid then some random who just got to 385 with no experience. I'm sure most people will be asking for confirmation of raid skill such as weapons/emblems.

Haven't ever played games where level caps got raised with dlc/expansions? You play becuase you enjoy the game, if you feel like you are waisting your time perhaps this game isn't best for you.
