Here's how Bungie could/should bring back ALL Y1 gear:

I posted this in another thread requesting that a certain exotic weapon from Y1 be brought back. I'm posting it as its own post to see if it gets any traction or support from the community. I supported all efforts to bring back ANY Y1 gear of course, but I think Bungie needs to stop picking and choosing which come forward and which don't. Rather than internally debate and waste time on that, just build a system like I proposed below, and everyone wins. [quote]All Y1 weapons need to come back. Simple, easy, it slows the flow of bringing Y1 guns forward, it doesn't force players to regrind for the same gun, but they will have to play the game to obtain marks/shards/glimmer.   • No. 1 just a cheep way to get your OP y1 guns back and elemental burns backs. People still have y1 guns in there vault with perk combos on them that can not be obtained on the newer replacement guns. Even the perks on the y1 gear would negate y2 and y3. VOG boots with "carry more heavy" and chest with "carry more special" and done. Right now you have to pick witch heavy and special you want more ammo for (not counting a few exotics). Bungie messed up with the perks in y1. To OP on the guns and for armor it's "1 thing does everything". They learned from there mistake and left them behind in y2 (cheepest and easiest fix). Even if they changes the perks to match y2+ specs the next posts you would see is "return them to y1 perk combos".
