    Supers that would have killed me instantly; Hammers (last longer, better range, heals on kill) Golden gun (OHK from any range) The blade dancer if he tried to actually jump (or kill my team mate before going for me) Then pretty much every one and done super. If the hunter was a nightstalker he would have just tethered the floor near his team and I would have been done. Novabombs and havoks instantly kill storm callers 99 times out of 100. Storms only work well if you have good dodging skills, and your opponents don't have their supers (if they do you need to be very good with it). They need to get reasonably close, they can't regenerate health on killing, and have a duration of about 8-11 seconds when you use it with blink. But I can totally see why players with disorganised teams would think that storm callers are op.

  • All your points are unimportant though. Let's say we give Golden Gun 20secs duration and 6 shots. Would it be easy to shut it down/counter? Yeah, just like before. But it would still be op as shit. Stormtrance is by far the easiest super to get 5+ kills with. I think 9/10 "Seventh Colum" medals right now are Stormtrance killsprees. Directly followed by Hammer of Sol. Bladedance is garbage in comparison, because it's easier to shut down, easier to miss enemies, it has no range and less duration.

    Blade dancer lasts longer. Almost 30% longer unless the storm caller uses trancendance. (Which they shouldn't do as pulsewave is infinitely better) It also heals on kill. Range wise, BDs have less, but it's balanced out by having longer duration which can be extended even further with mask of the third man and encore. Or it can heal on kills with hungering blade. It's also got much better grenades. Also blade dancers don't loose super energy when they blink so they can be just as evasive, but they can be evasive for longer. Storm callers are great. (However if you check the actual stats on destinytracker.net) sunbreakers have the most seventh Columns by a considerable margin. Followed by blade dancer, which is then followed by storm caller. (Stats taken from after the release of TTK). Each class has something they excel at and something they are weak with. Storms fail against organised players and one off supers. They also have bad grenades. They are good against bad teams and have fantastic melee. It's all give and take. I for once feel like all the classes are in a good place. Apart from sunsinger. Zero redeeming qualities there lol.

    Longer duration? Maybe when you don't use r1 or r2 a single time. Use both supers while spamming r1 to actually kill people. Mask of the Third is bollocks, you only get one slash more. Stormtrance lasts WAY longer because killing people in Stormtrance doesn't really use up super energy. You can clean a room full of enemies in a second because of the insane tracking and chaining. It's also way harder to shut down. I can go 1v1 against an Arcblade with ease...shotgun&melee and it's a trade 5/10times, even when he goes directly after me. If a Stormtrance sees me and goes after me, I'm dead before I even can scratch him with my shotgun and I cannot evade his lightnings like I can do with Arcblade shlashes or Hammers (just jump/blink away). Yes, I can shotgun&melee him too...but only from the side or from behind. Arcblade also is bugged as shit. Shortstopping, failed tracking, sometimes being a onehit with a melee only, etc.

  • Honestly most if not everything you said was so off base it's not worth addressing. I'll just use your own stats, if storm caller was so op why does your warlock have the exact same kd as your hunter? Because it's not op. Each class has their own strengths and weaknesses. I'm sorry you don't understand that. You are entitled to your own opinion, but I think I'll just leave the conversation here.

  • Because I don't really use my Warlock in PvP? Because I don't use Stormcaller, I use Voidwalker? I don't care for your opinion, I'm just seeing the facts. NO, Arcblade doesn't last longer when you actually use it, NO, Arcblade isn't harder to shut down, NO, Arcblade isn't easier to get 5+ kills with. Just facts. Bye now.

    Again you invalidate your opinion with your own statement. You use voidwalker. So you either don't have experience with storm caller, or you think voidwalkers Are better.

  • That is completely pointless. I know that Stormtrance is op because I played all of them. I just like Voidwalker more because of Blink and the Nades. I also like instant Supers more like Fist or Novabomb because I don't rely on them for multikills. Stop making points out of thin air, please.

  • Yeah it's probably the easiest "kill" super to shut down. It's time to kill usually ends up getting me killed with it, when blade, hammers, golden gun, tether, nova, smash are all Instant kills

  • Exactly. 99% of the time I get smashed, novabombed or tethered out of storm caller. The one time out of a hundred it doesn't happen people call it op. Usually bad players who blame their opponents for when they loose I imagine.
