I am surprised how many 380+ players I see in strike playlists that dont seem to even know the base mechanic of some of the older strikes and die a lot.... I mean.... A LOT. Its like new money, they have it but don't know what to do with it. :P

the reason people ask for higher light levels( or at least me) is because you can't always trust people when you say be experienced to actually be. so if you ask for higher let they are not getting hurt nearly as bad and they can kill things easier, but that doesn't mean they'll do more damage than someone lower

I just love how Bungie actually believe people in this game help each other, most don't do the raid after its on YouTube, and then ask for others who have done it, not to mention asking for emblem as evidence, that's why I hate raiding in this game, not because of the lack of LFG, but for the attitude of its players.

The same argument has gone on and on and on, I bought this day 1, i didn't play till till the second dlc due to work and not really caring, 4 months befor ttk I got serious and decided to keep playing, got to level 30 with out any help then I found a team at launch of ttk, before that I had never touched a raid, I've done them all now and I like VOG more than any raid, but the ttk raid was only the one todo at the time. I know light vs raid is helpful but 3 adults vs 3 retarded 14 year olds who have no clue on roi is annoying..

I took a 339 through the raid with my group, but if i was to find random people i would try to ask for 380 so even if they are bad, they can do some dps and stay alive longer. If you do not like people's requirements, just skip the post, whats the point complaining about it? If you can find people to 2 phase him instead of 3 or 4 phasing, why not?

I took a year off.. So was just getting to the taken king raid when the dlc came out ... Was so close to completing the year two book. But I've done more than enough of the first 2 raids to know those that put that requirement in their post are usually the ones that cause wipe after wipe.

While it is true 380+ does more damage than say 375 it does not matter if you don't know what you are doing. My clan we take clan members through and show them the ropes of RoTM all the time. Sometimes we don't have anyone above 380 light sometimes we do. We can get through the raid in an hour and twenty minutes and get the monitors for those who still need it. It is more about experience and communication than just being able to do dps to the boss.

It usually just means commitment to the game. Not always but if I have to lfg and so.eone is high light high grimoire, they usually end up being playable.

My only issue is being Level 40, 386 light and getting destroyed by a Level 2 dreg in the Cosmodrome.
