Festival of the Lost and VAULT SPACE
Im assuming festival of the lost is coming up. I still have my masks from last year. But now with rise of Iron my vault is kinda full. And Id like to enjoy collecting masks again.
Is it that hard to add a page or two to the vault space we have available? the latest iron Banner pretty much filled up my armor space.
You make a game, where a huge part of the expirience is collecting stuff. Yet you dont provide enough space to keep it?
The masks may be useless, but they are pretty fun to run around in. I really enjoy these seasonal events and are a nice distraction from crucible and other activities. But my masks occupy alot of space and Im afraid to aquire more, and not have space to put them in. So I might have to refrain from doing any activities this year.

Double the current vault space would be a good start. [b][i]AND[/i][/b] a kiosk for masks.

Along with returning the ability to swap gear from the gear manager during play. Add the ability to Infuse and Delete from the Gear Manager. Lastly, configured preset loadouts.

I always liked the idea of the skull mask working like a kiosk. You could equip that mask and inspect it to change how it looks, similar to the way ornaments work. Then all the masks (which provide no bonuses) would only take up 1 inventory space and could easily be carried anywhere you go.

45 RespuestasAlot of online only games charge for storage. Bungie has given us a ton of free storage already. I play a game where you get 12 slots total for sharing between characters, 16 slots per character total for free. That game also has more equipment types to equip. I get wanting to collect things, I kept all my vog and Crota guns plus all the mask but we still have more than enough space.

holy shit delete some of the stuff you dont need. delete those duplicates that have worse rolls. that vault space shouldnt be full, you have over 100 slots in each category...

I am assuming when hard mode raid drops they are doing a patch and update we may get more vault space when that comes before the 18th.

I'm a collector myself and was constantly in a "vault is full" situation since RoI -- it's been made worse because the greens dropping so much caused me to want to store stuff I normally kept on my characters in the vault so I wouldn't have to manage my space as much while grinding strikes, AF, or crucible. I also stopped holding a bunch of weapon orders to give me more room. I eventually just decided to scrap 75% of my exotics since I honestly didn't use most of them and could always just get any back from the kiosk. I have some breathing room now, but there's still a lot of stuff in there taking up space like different sets of SRL gear, all the masks, taken armor sets for my 3 characters, god roll weapons in each weapon archetype (never know when the high- or mid-impact pulses will become great again), etc. Bungie said they'll be expanding it eventually, so I can always hoard all the exotics once that happens. :)

I hoard old armor pretty badly and stay at 106-108 in the vault with the two unused characters holding everything they can. I have been organizing the "General" section today and when I get home, I will get rid of 10 unneeded ghost shells and quite a few artifacts. That section isn't bad right now though. Right now, I am sitting with every armor slot on all three characters full and 102 of 108 vault spaces full. Going to infuse what I can tonight and then be pretty ruthless on disposing of a bunch of armor I'd still like to keep (but I rarely use anyway). I don't really mind being tight on vault space. It forces me to only keep what I really, really want to keep. With the possibility of FotL coming up... Imma need space for some missing masks! :) Sitting on 12 of them right now, would like the rest of the ones I'm missing and hopefully add some new ones this season.

My recent favorites are Atheon for when I'm standing on the edge of the Felwinter peak (just drop off backwards as somebody comes running up to you (REALLY stupid, cheap entertainment)) and Eris (just because). Eris won't let me take any pictures of her untamed beauty, so the mask is the next best thing.

It does suck that Bungie has not given us a much much larger vault, but to threaten to not play content is just disingenuous. Vault space was mitigated because of last gen consoles. The same consoles that Bungie has now left behind in this expansion. They have stated that the space will increase sometime in RoI. The expansion hasn't even been out a full month yet. Give them a bit of time, and we will get more vault space.
