Stop the stupid lfg requirements
I have played with many groups who say they know what they are doing, done it before and are 375+ but they can't even beat the raid then yesterday I joined a group (on my friend's account) 365+ where one person didn't know how to do the encounters and only 1 had beat the raid before. So we went through we explained to this guy what you had to do and guess what we beat every encounter first try... It just shows that these stupid requirements are not needed a good player will be able to just as well.
And then for trials well you can't judge a player by his stats you can farm it high or it can be dropped low by just not taking it seriously all of the time. I have played with people who have double my K/D but are no where near as good and then played with players with a lower K/D then me who have been much better. Stats while for the upmost sweats it may show how good they are for most it will not be an accurate representation; they may have been terrible at one point but are now gods or they may spend most of their games doing stupid challenges.
So there is no need what so ever for stupid requirements in both PvE and PvP in truth if you are a good player it shouldn't matter if someone has exactly the same skill as you and don't look down on people just because of your stats so just learn that not everybody cares about their stats and takes everything seriously.
Edit 1: light levels is a bit different i understand certain requirements but do not belive for the raid you need to be 380+ or that for trials you need a 2 K/D

Edit 3: you guys must remember running kings fall even after it had been out for almost a year with a full team of 335's and struggling to get it done so light really doesn't matter because it can be done easily with a full team of 315's

Brilliant post, I gave up on lfg because of the sheer ridiculousness of it. ROI has been out for a couple of weeks not years, players need to have a bit more patience.

4 RespuestasI really love this game....so much that I have it on Ps4 and Xbox one. I'm a day 1 player on Ps4 and recently got the game on Xbox. So far my experience on Xbox is the worst with raid groups. I have a set group on ps4 so I don't have a issue there bit getting groups on Xbox even though I meet their criteria. I got a raid group today... Did well. Finished the 1st boss them while moving to the zamboni part and then I see I'm kicked. I try again to find a group and it's a group of kids who can't manage to handle the siege part and the angry leader kicked everyone. At that point I just gave up.

Bungievision has been known to nerf lfg requirements.... sadly enough. An entity that that they have nothing to with because they are lazy and required the player base to make. They use that as their tool as what weapon To nerf. Gally rip

Its a toss up really on how people interact with each other just did the full raid with no one knowing what to do but me and we beat it in an hour and the light lvls where 363-385. Teamwork will always beat arrogance and selfishness. Id rather have a group of 365s that work great together than a group of 385s that all want it their way.

Completely agree. I went into iron banner with a team who didn't kick me for my light and proceeded to sauce up a team who kicked me earlier (380's)

1 RespuestaYou go to LFG and you tell me which players are good based on the info you have to work with. Go ahead, go right now and list the top 5 players who have "skill" and are "good" based on only what you see on their post. You can't. Telling everyone how you're opinion is fact is a waste of everyone's time. We all get to play how we want to, with whom we want to and with whatever requirements we see fit. Remember this is a VIDEO GAME. Can a raid be beat with six of the same class? Yup. Will I require one warlock and one hunter no matter what? Yup. Because that is what I want in my group. Will I require a higher light level? Yup. Because I want Maximum damage and the other person to have the best possible chance at taking damage since I have ZERO way to tell if someone is skilled when their F'ing response to my post looking for people is "invite". Can lower light skilled players do it as well or better? You bet. But I have to maximize my time spent on activities as I play with a lot of people and help a lot of people. I have to give myself best possible chance to maximize that time. Bottom line. I play and we all play how we want to. Just because it is different for you doesn't make your opinion the right one for everyone. Since you're so passionate about it, you just keep doing you. Best of luck. 2 RespuestasI've used the recruitment on this app for all my raids since RoI and I have to say I'm surprised at how chill people have been.😎 Only had a couple ragers and when they left or were booted we went on just fine. one guy was raging at the siege engine he left and we did it second try after lol😝 That group had a 353 and 363 and we nearly killed Aksis a few times before he said thanks guys and left (not booted) we got a higher light level and finished. Just look for the fam friendly casual post I've only failed with two groups out of 8 that were either inexperienced or just casual types.

I look for weekly kd if your weekly is really good then most likely you will do well in trials I'm kinda new to this game but I'm almost at 1.1 with my hunter warlock is 1.0 titan .8 but y'all know I started playing smarter if I'm losing a gunfight I run I don't stay and I've noticed I'm alot better the. I used to be an idiot when. Playing pvp also using the meta weapons makes a big difference if you want the success you have to use the best weapons

I've only used the lfg twice once was for vog to get no time to explain the second more recently was for a Titan and warlock to help me with the battery on outbreak prime still need to do the raid now to get the last part done

I will only post requirements if I know I don't have much time to complete a raid. Other than that I'll take anyone, for example trials and nightfalls I'll post i need 2 people and then take the first 2 that add and join me. If you're the 3rd to join sorry for booting you, even if you have a flawless emblem lol But some of these requirements are a tad much. The k/d ones for example, when destiny came out I played pvp almost exclusively. I had a kd around 1.6. Then I got into raids and pve and stayed away from pvp except for banner. Then with banner I wouldn't really be into it, I was playing to hit rank 5 and played like crap most games (especially between ranks 3 and 5) my kd dropped to 1.1 because I just didn't care. I've been flawless multiple times and still bust out 3.0 kd games when I'm in a pvp mood, other than that I'm playing the games to finish them for marks or rep or whatnot.

i have never been in a group of 36x players who have successfully beat the raid. tried a few, if it happens there are always a few of us higher light. damage just isn;t there even if they have the mechanics down

16 RespuestasRule of thumb when recruiting from LFG: Higher light = More experience. More experience = less chance you'll have to waste 2 hours waiting for someone to finally wrap their head around the fight mechanics. If I'm short on time I'll recruit 385 players.

One time I got this guy off lfg and he was like 385 and once he saw we had two level 365s he was like I can't do it with 360s even though we had three people above 380. So he left and we found someone else. We beat the raid in 40min nobody wiped the entire raid with less than 5 deaths total. We also beat the final boss only using 2 pillars and almost used less

If I've loads of time I don't bother with requirements, if I haven't I go full on elitist. Went full elitist on Wednesday and got hate mail. Did the raid in 1h 5m and that was with messing about with the monitors. If people can't be arsed creating a party and inviting people then quit whining and suck it up. You've only your own laziness to blame.

I have never done the raid and 4 other people in my fireteam haven't either. But guess what!? We did all the boss fight on our 1-2 tries!

If all the people whining about requirements would just make a group with their own requirements, they would never have a problem. Instead, it's required to post about what other people do with their free time in a game. Never understood this. I always post for my own LFG for this reason. Whenever we posted for a raid we would take the lowest light level in our party (by 5s) and put that as a requirement.
