Right now they're really a hit or miss. Either you get the kill or damage someone, or they can stand right on top of it as it blows up and not take a lick of damage. I like using them. And am often pleasantly surprised by random kills in a "oh I forgot I threw that" moment.
Or you could have a home run with them like I did with a quad kill with one.
Fear the little red light. Fear it.
Edit: So we have a lot of opinions on them in pvp. Cool beans. But what about pve? They're kinda eh. Funny seeing the disco that goes on when you contact enemies with them though.

Editado por StarSol: 10/22/2016 4:09:35 PMHonestly the proc timer is way too fast to allow a one hit kill. It was used as a sticky, instant-grenade, and a lingering grenade. Increase the time it takes for it to be ready to trigger. eliminate the panic use of it and it would be fine. It shouldn't stick. Good change there. It shouldn't go off the very second it hits the wall. Its a trip mine that literally has been abused into the ground tripling as an "all you ever need grenade". With how panicky its used and how fast it procs, it being a one hit kill is a bad idea.

1 RespuestaI hate the hot potato function they've got going on right now
-
Make more damage he closer to the base you are (ohk) a few meters out. Keep non guardian stick. Reduce duration to about that of lightning
-
Incendiary grenade for me now. Tripmines don't get the job done
-
I'd love them to stick again. I actually used these in pve.....

Editado por ImOnDemand: 10/11/2016 4:43:49 AM1) Return the damage to it's previous state. 2) Leave it's non-guardian sticking self be. Who cares about sticking people, it usually suicides the hunter anyways. 3) Make it so when i throw my tripmine on a flat surface, it doesn't stick facing the floor or towards the ceiling. 4) If you're not going to adjust the damage, make it so people can't run, walk, jump, glide through them and take minimal to no damage. Have them detonate immediately. 5) If you're treating them as a trap, get rid of the giant signal showing the tripmine so people can easily avoid it. That's all i can think of for now.

1 RespuestaStill pretty good to use you just have to place them right
-
1 RespuestaIdk I always thought they would be fine if they were the exact same way before tje nerf only... they added a timer onto it. What I mean is when the grenade sticks it can't go off for... idk you pick maybe 5 seconds? That way it's still reliable but you can't just throw it like a massive blast radius grenade at someone on sight. That's why bungie nerfed them, people didn't use them right

10 RespuestasThat trip mine nerf was one of the most uncalled for, pointless nerfs they've ever done. All the other classes get to keep their ridiculous one hit tracking grenades and the only sticky that requires you to aim gets wrecked. Then they go one step further and make it so it can't even one hit kill. Still pretty salty about it tbh.
-
I'd be up for them sticking to guardians again on 2 conditions: 1. It does not explode until another enemy guardian walks in the radius. Meaning that whoever it is sticking to is basically a walking sticky grenade. If it is triggered, then you get a multi-kill. If it is on that guardian for too long then it explodes on its own and does 110 damage. 2. Lightning and Stick grenades also stick to guardians.

#maketripminsegreatagain.

They sucks, worst trap ever now that can't OHK guardians. Also the disco show can make the explosion cone go where no one is.

Make Tripmines Stick Again
-
My singular greatest joy in crucible was finding different ways to throw and stick enemies... I used to love that so much... When someone would just run through a hail of bullets to shotgun me, I would tag them with a tripmine just before... It was a little token of my affection, and now its gone... I wouldn't mind so much if they made the throwing knife a ohk... but you can throw on Memory of Similar and sometimes the DoT gets them...
-
* Weaksauce * Can be seen from a mile away so not sure what the problem was to begin with. Never saw an outcry for a nerf either.
-
They need to stick again, sticking one took more skill then other stickies
-
9 RespuestasThey should stick again. No one complained about tripmines yet Bungle took that away from us. Muppets.
-
I hate how they can't stick to people in crucible anymore. That makes no sense, it can stick to a wall but not a person?
-
When you throw it at someone, instead of spazzing out to the floor and not doing any damage, it should at least explode immediately as it touches you... it's a tripmine. Why wouldn't it activate on contact?
-
To be honest I haven't used them at all since the nerf. A combination of me trying out Incendiary grenades for a while but mostly switching over to Nighstalker as my main Hunter subclass. I used to love Tripmines with my Ahamkara's Spine though. Didn't feel they needed a nerf. If anything I was ok with them removing the ability to stick people with them (although I didn't think it was ever an issue), but the damage nerf seemed really unnecessary.

Editado por Kittimu: 10/10/2016 3:09:15 PMI'm a Titan. I love them. They taste like chicken. I once stepped on a tripmine and then with my last pixel of health killed the dude that put it there and lived.

They blow now
-
In pve they are very hit or miss. I'll often throw one in the middle of a group of mobs and they all duck...and it just sits there... flashing. Then to add insult to injury, the mobs get up and walk away all the while my now useless trip grenade flashes. On a more embarrassing note: I sometimes forget about the useless trip mine and while running passed, it decides to go off and I become a victim of misadventure..... and stupidity. Lol

They suck ass now......

4 RespuestasThey dont need a buff. Just git gud.....
